Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for the collection, distribution, and/or reporting of media content. According to an embodiment, media content items from one or more content providers are ingested into a content distribution system implemented by one or more server computer devices. These items of media content may comprise a variety of constituent elements, such as one or more video data units, one or more audio data units, descriptive metadata, subtitle units, thumbnails, or other information, which may be ingested all at once, or separately over time. Items may be processed using various workflows to refine content item components and/or generate new content items. Various publishing rules may be utilized to determine when the system is ready to publish a content item and distribute the item to client devices. Clients may request content items from various published listings, or search for content items by metadata and/or subtitles.

Abstract: A method for identifying a primary key relationship using metadata of a data source is described herein. In an implementation, the method includes identifying a pair of metadata from the data source for comparison. A phonetic code of each of the pair of metadata is determined Further, the phonetic code of the pair of metadata is compared to determine a phonetic disparity score. A string sequence of the pair of metadata is compare to determine a string comparison score. Further a compliance to a predefined set of constraints are checked for the pair of metadata, and a primary key and foreign key relationship is determined based on the phonetic disparity code, string comparison code and compliance of the pair of metadata to a predefined set of constraints.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic mapping of a location identifier pattern of an object to a semantic type using object metadata are disclosed. In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure include a method, which may be implemented on a system, of identifying a set of tags associated with a website that is hosted by a web server. The method further includes, detecting a web page in the website in which a tag of the set of tags is identified, extracting a pattern from a Universal Resource Locator (URL) of the web page, and/or storing the pattern in a database embodied in a machine-readable storage medium as being mapped to the semantic type. The tag corresponds to a semantic type with which the content embodied in the web page has a semantic relationship and the pattern corresponds to the semantic type with which the content embodied in the web page has a semantic relationship.

Abstract: A unified context-aware content archive system allows enterprises to manage, enforce, monitor, moderate, and review business records associated with a variety of communication modalities. The system may store an information infoset derived or inferred from one or more documents representing communications according to the variety of communication modalities as interaction transcripts. An interaction transcript represents interactions between participants through the documents rather than the documents themselves allowing for derivation or inference of communication events, chronologies, and mappings to be stored in a common data structure. In one aspect, events correlation is provided between participants of communications that can be established by general time series analysis for the purposes of extracting meaningful statistics and interaction contexts and other characteristics of data. In another aspect, chronological mappings are provided of conversations between an established start and end time frame.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing data verification are disclosed. In one exemplary method, the data is displayed in at least one display field and information related to the data is stored in at least one source file. The method includes creating a link between the display field and the source file, wherein the link is displayed in a verification panel associated with the display field. The method further includes saving link identification information, wherein the link identification information includes category information of the display field and location information of the source file, and obtaining the source file at the location specified by the link identification information, if the link is selected for display; and opening the source file and displaying the source file.

Abstract: An interoperability system abstracts the protocols used by multiple network applications into an interoperability framework, thereby allowing the network applications to interoperate with each other and/or with modules for providing enhanced functionalities. The interoperability framework includes a number of adapters that modularize the components needed for interoperation and abstracts content from the underlying protocols and procedures used by the network applications. The interoperability framework includes a resource control that enables the network applications to access shared resources, such as data and content used by the network applications, thus allowing the applications to interoperate and for functionality enhancements to be added.

Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for event auditing framework are described herein. The auditing framework includes one or more auditees, an auditor, and a memory associated with the auditor. Each auditee is associated with a digitally signed file including metadata of one or more events authorized for the auditee. The auditor validates digital signature of the file when the auditee is registered with the auditor. After validation of the digital signature, the metadata of the authorized events is stored with respect to the auditee to enable the auditee perform the authorized events. The auditing framework is expandable in that new event types can be added or updated dynamically. The auditing framework also ensures consistency of events.

Abstract: A method for detection of spam in a tagging system can include assigning negative points to each tag in the tagging system responsive to the tag matching at least one spam filter criteria, assigning trust points to a tagger responsive to the tagger's behavior matching at least one tagger filter criteria, wherein the at least one tagger filter criteria depends upon tags assigned by the tagger that are assigned negative points, and restricting a tagging functionality of the tagging system for a tagger if a first predefined threshold of negative trust points is exceeded.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for creating drill-through parameter mapping candidates. A location of source metadata and target metadata is received as well as a set of parameter mapping candidates. The source metadata, target metadata, and parameter mapping candidates are analyzed in order to form analyzed metadata. A set of parameter mapping candidates are then generated using the analyzed metadata, which are then prepared for presentation to an agent. A sorted set of parameter mapping candidates is then returned to the agent. In addition, a location of the source metadata and the target metadata as well as the set of parameter mapping candidates is sent to a parameter mapping creation process. A request is sent to retrieve a created parameter mapping candidate from the parameter mapping creation process. A parameter mapping candidate is then displayed to a user and a gesture of the user is acted upon.

The method for searching information provides an editor meeting searcher's intention detected using analysis results for keywords and searches contents having metadata associated with metadata input through the editor. As a result, a search may be formed by detecting searcher's intention from information input by a searcher, inducing a detailed metadata input based on the detected intention, and using the input metadata.

Abstract: The present invention improves upon the authoring system for a content menu by disclosing a new interface and program control which enables a menu developer to create and to capture meta-query data in the form of a chain of Binary Attribute Relations. The Binary Attribute Relation or BAR represents a pair of attributes which serve as meta-query data for a primitive retrieval operation known as a BAR query. The BAR query exposes a primitive data relation in an external data file which forms a basic building block for the content menu. Recursive algorithms parse the BAR chain to create network segment of data and data relations to automatically create a knowledge representation known as a “database taxonomy”. The pairing of two attributes in a BAR link and the sequence of these links in a BAR chain adhere to a well-defined system of rules.

Abstract: A system and method for restricting access to a computer system, resource, or network to live persons, and for preventing the execution of automated scripts via an interface intended for human interaction. When queried for access to a protected resource, computer system, or network, the system will respond with a challenge requiring unknown petitioners to solve a visual puzzle before proceeding, said puzzle consisting of a collection of apparently random objects, and exploiting the natural human impulse to form semantic or symbolic associations between images of objects. The puzzle objects are assembled into a composite test image which is designed to frustrate machine interpretation but is still easily interpreted by a human being. The subject of the test must either recognize a semantic or symbolic association between two or more objects, or isolate an object that does not belong with the others, indicating their selection with the pointing device on their local computer.

Abstract: A system and method for the customization of media content metadata that is transmitted to any one of a plurality of end user devices of differing types. The system is adapted to modify individual records or even individual fields from the entire gamut of available metadata into a metadata feed which is optimally suited for display upon the type of end user device. Additionally, the system is also able to modify the records or individual fields from a list of all metadata instances according to pre-recorded user preferences. The result is a system that optimally utilizes the current connection path in order to reduce congestion thereon, or to alleviate any user potential frustration caused by sporadic performance of the overloaded interconnection path.

Abstract: A system manages a file directory containing data that is exposed by a file-server. The system provides a block-device layered on top of a network share that treats the underlying network share as read-only but allows local file-system semantics to operate on top of the network share. The end-result is a virtual disk containing a locally recognizable file-system that can read and write from the perspective of the operating system but where the data is store in the cloud as network shares. The virtual disk appears to be a fully functional local disk with all the expected local disk semantics.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide methods and apparatuses for classifying electronic documents (e.g., electronic communications) as either spam electronic documents or legitimate electronic documents. The multi-dimensional vectors represent corresponding electronic documents that have been classified as at least one type of electronic documents. Abstract: Metadata is extracted from a filesystem of a first system. The filesystem includes user data and the metadata. The metadata relates to the user data and is corrupt. Just the just the metadata extracted from the filesystem is transmitted from the first system to a second system. The second system receives the transmitted metadata, and loads this metadata to create a dummy namespace reflecting the metadata. The second system debugs the metadata, and prepares a patch based on this debugging. Execution of the patch allows the metadata to be repaired so that the metadata is no longer corrupt. The patch is transmitted from the second system to the first system for execution at the first system to allow the metadata to be repaired at the first system so that the metadata is no longer corrupt at the first system.
