  • Patent number: 11866382
Abstract: The present invention relates to improving the efficacy of man-made and/or natural organic-based animal manure fertilizers by administration of an organic solvent formula containing polyorganic acids and/or their salts. The formulation liberates nutrient(s) that are normally bound in the soil as insoluble salts and complexes. These delivery formulations also provide an environmentally sound and inherently safe solvating system that improves diffusion of polyorganic acids to the granule fertilizer. These delivery formulations enable safe storage, transport and subsequent application or blending with solid or liquid fertilizers. The combined formulation and fertilizer can be applied to soil to provide improved efficacy of fertilizer by liberating nutrients bound in the soil for uptake by plant life.

  • Patent number: 10766828
Abstract: Stable, liquid fertilizer compositions comprising nickel, cobalt, and molybdenum are provided herein. The fertilizer compositions are capable supplying high levels of micronutrients to seeds at low doses of the compositions. The compositions generally have low salinity and a pH from about 6.0 to about 8.0, thereby avoiding the high mortality rates of beneficial soil bacteria, which has been a major problem with prior seed fertilizers. Also provided herein are methods of forming and using the fertilizer compositions. Notably, it has been discovered that monoethanolamine molybdate solutions can be used to provide high levels of molybdenum to seed surfaces in a stable liquid formulation.

  • Patent number: 7927397
Abstract: A concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product based fertilizer product is created by mixing concentrated separator by-product, a by-product of the de-sugaring of beet molasses, and fish soluble by-product, a by-product of the production of fish meal. The raw mixture of concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product is then heat treated and optionally filtered to remove suspended particular matter. The heat treated mixture of concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product is then cooled to yield the concentrated separator by-product and fish soluble by-product based fertilizer product.

  • Patent number: 7901481
Abstract: A vegetable based fluidic fertilizer derived from concentrated separator by-products (CSB.) The CSB is heat treated and optionally filtered to remove suspended particular matter. The heat treatment is performed in a range of about 150 to 200 degrees F. for about 24 to 96 hours. Filtration is provided using a standard wire mesh size in a range of about 50 to 200. The fertilizer may then be applied at about 25 to 200 gallons per acre. The fertilizer may be applied to agricultural vegetation either directly or by inclusion in an irrigation stream.

  • Patent number: 7879127
Abstract: A product for reinforcing the natural plant defense system a mixture of one or several silicon-rich substances (A), one or more activators of plant immune system (B) and substance (C) which supply to (A) and (B) activity. Activators are substances or physical effects and substances, which transport the information about stress and provide the synthesis of non specific and/or specific stress-proteins, stress ferments and other stress-protecting substances to the plant cells. Using various forms of Si-rich substances will help plants to synthesize non-specific, specific substances and ferments which protect plants against stress. The substance (C) could serve for optimization of plant growth or for reinforcing Si or the activator component and they can be added to the new product also. The application of all these ingredients can be conducted via soil application (both broadcasting and incorporation) together with the irrigation water, by foliar applications or as dust application.

  • Patent number: 7850758
Abstract: A particle is provided with simultaneous delivery of a fertilizer and an active agent that when adhered to foliage causes a chemical burn thereto. A hydrophobic coating is provided intermediate between the fertilizer core and the active agent to inhibit moisture absorption by the particle that renders the particle tacky and therefore adherent to target foliage. The active agent granule is adhered to the hydrophobic coating or at least partially embedded therein based on the nature of the formation process. The particle is also provided that includes a second fertilizer layer exterior to the hydrophobic coating with the second fertilizer layer is substantially devoid of water soluble nitrogen compounds. Active agent granules are then adhered to the second fertilizer layer. The resultant particles reduce chemical burning associated with combined fertilizer and active agent usage, especially under dispersant conditions of high temperature and high humidity.
