The system includes an editor installed in a computer device for initiating an editing interface used to edit one or more command sets applied to the device and a writer used to convert the command sets into profiles with a format specified to the device. The command sets are used to form the profiles configured to be written to the device via the writer. The command sets including a set of scripts of commands and input codes specified to the device can be edited through the editor. The device is a computer mouse with multiple keys. The keys can be used to switch the profiles stored in the device, and the command set of the profile being activated is applied to the device for operating the device.

Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed provide a What-You-See-Is-What-You Get (WYSIWYG) editor for web content, allowing the conversion of previously generated web content to reusable templates or components. Embodiments thus allow, among other advantages, users such as web content developers to easily repurpose or reuse previously developed pages or content by giving these users the ability to review and edit previously developed pages or content in a WYSIWYG editor.

Abstract: The present technology analyzes the content of images to create complex representations of the images and then reduces the complexity of these representations into a size that is both suitable for comparison but also contains critical image descriptive aspects. These reduced complexity representations can then be used to efficiently search for similar images. Moreover, the reduced complexity representations are formatted such that they can take advantage of existing text search engines, which are well suited to efficiently searching through a large number of unique results.

Each cell document is annotated to generate annotated cell documents with a cell recognition model trained to perform natural language processing on the cell documents by classifying each term in each of the cell documents and extracting relationships between the terms of each of the cell documents.

The content data structure specifies story elements of a preexisting story. The story elements are defined at one or more different levels of story abstraction and associated with metadata constraints that constrain modification or use of the story elements within the derivative story. At least some of the metadata constraints indicate whether associated ones of the story elements are mutable story elements. One or more of the mutable story elements are adapted to the content preferences of the content consumer as constrained by the metadata constraints to generate the derivative story. The derivative story is then rendered via a user interface.

To generate a longer version of the segment, the media guidance application may access the media asset from which the playlist was originally generated at a position corresponding to the currently-playing segment, and generate a longer version of the segment. To generate a shorter version of the segment, the media guidance application may remove a portion of the currently-playing segment. The media guidance application may replace the currently-playing segment with, and begin playing back, the modified version of the segment.
