Abstract: A photo product design customization system for customizing a photo product design with minimal and intuitive user inputs includes a product design module that displays a photo product design in a main design panel, a user input detection unit that can detect a first directional movement from a first dynamic object in a product type selection panel to the main design panel, or a second directional movement from a second dynamic object in a product style selection panel to the main design panel, or a third directional movement from a third dynamic object in a product style selection panel to the main design panel, and an intelligent product design creation engine that can automatically change the photo product design in the main design panel in response to detection of the first, the second, or the third directional movement.

The life-logging system determines location information associated with the user and identifies a camera of the plurality of cameras for capturing an image of the user based on the plurality of camera profiles, the user preferences, and the location information. The life-logging system arranges for the image of the user captured by the camera to be delivered to a client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating product design by an electronic device are described. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may display one or more designable canvases of a user interface for editing the visual design of a product. The electronic device may display an extended workspace canvas adjacent to and at least partially surrounding the one or more designable canvases. The extended workspace canvas may be configured to display a plurality of design elements that can be reached directly from the one or more designable canvases for use. Each of the design elements may be configured to be selectively positioned within the one or more designable canvases. The electronic device may, in response to a surface change selection of the one or more designable canvases, maintain the displaying of the extended workspace canvas while the one or more designable canvases are in a transitioning state.

In response to a channel-up or a channel-down command, a currently displayed program is re-sized to fit within a smaller program window. Additional program windows that render snapshots of content from one or more program up and one or more program down may be displayed in windows that are organized in a vertical alignment with the program window of the currently displayed program. The program windows are animated or scrolled in a direction to bring the program window of the user-desired next program in place of the program window of the currently displayed programmed. The program window of the next program is then resized to occupy the entire display.

More particularly, the methods and systems described herein provide features such as annotation guidance and video condensation.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for predicting and prefetching relevant thumbnails from remote servers to client devices based on a dynamic determination of file display criteria. For example, a thumbnail prefetching system utilizes previous thumbnail requests to predict a file directory sort order and determine thumbnails the operating system at the client device will next request. The thumbnail prefetching system can then prefetch the thumbnails prior to the operating system at the client device making thumbnail requests for the files. Thus, when the operating system does request thumbnails for the pertinent files, the thumbnail prefetching system can provide the thumbnails efficiently and quickly while leaving thumbnails for other (unrequested) files stored at the remote server (and not downloaded to the client device).

First, a plurality of Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) objects corresponding to a first video rendition of a content program may be downloaded from a Content Delivery Network (CDN) in non-real-time. The plurality of ABR objects may comprise a portion of ABR objects comprising the content program. Next, the plurality of ABR objects downloaded in non-real-time may be stored in a cache. At least a portion of the content program may then be retrieved in real-time using ABR streaming. Retrieving the at least a portion of the content program may comprise obtaining a first ABR object corresponding to the content program and a second ABR object corresponding to the content program.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing a visual example-based user interface for adjusting images is provided. In example embodiments, a new image to be adjusted is received. A plurality of basis styles is generated by applying adjustment parameters to the new image. Each of the plurality of basis styles comprises an adjusted version of the new image with an adjustment of at least one image control. A user interface is provided that positions a version of the new image in a center portion and positions the plurality of basis styles on the user interface based on the adjustment parameters applied to the new image. A control mechanism is provided over the version of the new image whereby movement of the control mechanism to a new position on the user interface causes the version of the new image to adjust accordingly.

In an example scenario, an entity/resource association is augmented to include a quality characteristic that is defined by a tuple that is preferably an ordered set of relative values. The number of values and their designations in the data model will depend on nature of the underlying entity/resource association. When entity/resource associations are annotated to include relative quality values in this manner, much more useful comparisons of apparently similar entity/resource associations may be carried out.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for displaying images and contextually relevant content on a digital content platform, such as a web page. In one embodiment, for example, the systems and methods include receiving a request for content call from an end-user device, identifying content that is contextually relevant to the image, delivering the content to the end-user device, and delivering a computer-readable instruction that causes the end-user device to perform an animation that displays the content in a spatial relationship with respect to the image as originally published. The spatial relationship is defined such that the content appears to be displayed on a backside of the image.

The underlying application is active whether the UI is in tile view or in full-screen view, and may generate data that can be presented via the UI. Abstract: A server maintains a multi-user gallery of ephemeral messages. Ephemeral messages are posted to the gallery by multiple different users for online viewing via a single, common gallery. In response to a gallery view request from any recipient device, the ephemeral messages in the multi-user are displayed on the requesting device in automated sequence, each message being displayed for a respective display duration before display of the next message in the gallery. Each ephemeral message is removed from the gallery, thus being unavailable, for viewing upon request, at expiry of a respective corresponding message availability parameter. An account administration interface is provided to enable multiple users to post to the multi-user gallery as a single organizational or celebrity account.

Abstract: In some examples, an electronic device may store at least one of application data or application state information obtained from executing a first application on the electronic device, and may offload the first application from the electronic device. The system determines a schedule for repeated delivery of the insight to one or more users. Abstract: Information display methods and devices are disclosed. Because display screen of a device may not show a large information list, users may need to browse the information using browsing operations. The screen display a segment of the information list upon each browsing operation. In one embodiment, the identification information of each displayed information segment is recorded and the user may back navigate to a previously displayed information segment based on the recorded identification information.

Abstract: A search system interface is described. Known search system interfaces are largely unable to find composite articles on the basis of a description of the distribution of content types within them. A problem with providing such a search interface is the laboriousness of generating a suitable query. To address this problem, a display is provided with a key showing content types and associated map symbols. Also provided on the display is a search mapping area, which takes advantage of the fact that parts of text documents, and many other types of searchable items, can be referenced by one or more ordinal values, by having an easily perceivable relationship between position in the search mapping area and position within a target document.
