Abstract: A system for bending a surgical device is disclosed in which the system may include a bending apparatus having a housing with a series of posts received therein. In some embodiments, one of the series of posts may be selectively movable within an elongate slot in the housing, while another of the series of posts may be circumferentially movable. Movement of the circumferentially movable post may serve to bend a surgical device about at least one of the other remaining posts. A tool may also be provided with the system for interacting with a lever and causing the circumferentially movable post to move circumferentially. An alternate apparatus for bending a surgical device is also disclosed, as are methods of bending a surgical device using the aforementioned system.

Abstract: A pipe bender includes an actuating handle having an actuating element movably installed at the actuating handle and controllable to move in order to extend in an axial direction of the actuating handle, and a support arm transversally spanned over the actuating handle and having a support device disposed at both ends of the actuating handle separately and slidable along the support arm. Each support device includes a base with a grip portion, and a grip space formed in the grip portion, and the base is sheathed from the grip space on the support arm through the grip portion, and the support device includes a positioning mechanism for sliding and moving the support device to a selected position and then positioning the support device on the support arm.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the tool for working tubes. The tool includes a body having hinged thereto a trigger for moving back-and-fourth, and which is connected to a support member supporting a working head. A drive device is provided for driving the support member mounted on the body and connected to the trigger. The support member includes a toothed rack, and the drive device includes a first toothed gearwheel having a first module and meshing with the rack, a drive pawl serving to advance the rack forwards, and a retaining pawl preventing it from moving backwards. The drive device includes a second toothed gearwheel having a second module smaller than the first module, the second gear-wheel being secured to the first gearwheel, the drive pawl and the retaining pawl being engaged with the second gearwheel.
Abstract: A tube-bending device including a frame having a reciprocably mounted anvil and a coacting crossbar with tube-restraining blocks, together with a ratchet mechanism for driving the anvil toward the blocks to perform tube-bending operations, wherein the crossbar is reinforced with reinforcing ribs to prevent failure.
