Abstract: Bending pliers include first and second plier bodies connected together relatively turnably in mutually intersecting intermediate portions thereof by a pivot shaft, the bodies including first and second holding arms formed on one-end sides of the bodies, respectively, the arms respectively having plate-shaped first and second claw portions formed in their respective tip end portions and configured to hold a panel to be bent, and first and second handles formed on opposite-end sides of the bodies, respectively, and configured to open and close the arms, wherein a columnar bending fulcrum portion extending parallel to the shaft and projecting toward the second claw portion is formed at a tip end of the first claw portion, and a tip end of the second claw portion faces the fulcrum portion with a gap therebetween. The pliers form the bead portion in a smooth tubular shape in a folded portion of the panel.
Abstract: A pair of pliers including an upper jaw, a lower jaw, two handles, and a pivot. The upper jaw and the lower jaw combine to form a gripping jaw capable of opening and closing. The upper jaw is in the shape of an inner arc, and the lower jaw is in the shape of an outer arc. The inner arc includes a concave hole, and the outer arc includes a convex member corresponding to the concave hole. The two handles are integrated with the upper jaw and the lower jaw, respectively, and fixed via the pivot to form a cross connection.
Abstract: A pipe bender includes first and second handles pivotably secured together wherein the second handle includes first and second rotatable pipe receiving grooves at both ends of a forward U; a support member threadedly fastened between a forward bifurcation of the first handle, the support member comprising a spring depressible detent on the bottom, and a plurality of markings on the top; and a slide member comprising a plurality of parallel arcuate pipe receiving channels of different arcuate perimeters on a lower surface, a central U-shaped trough on the top for receiving a lower portion of the support member, retaining holes on the bottom of the U-shaped trough, each retaining hole being aligned with one pipe receiving channel and one retaining hole adapted to lockingly receive the detent for positioning. The slide member is slidably retained by the support member.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for securing a corner connector to a rectangular duct section having a transverse duct flange. The disclosure also relates to a method for securing a corner connector to a transverse duct flange.
Abstract: A hand tool is provided for securing adjacent vinyl siding strips. First and second handles, bearing first and second jaws, are pivotally attached. A first jaw forms a channel, and the second jaw supports a crimp bolt. A portion of one siding strip is disposed between the jaws. Actuation of the jaws moving the crimp bolt against the vinyl strip pushes the strip into the channel forming crimps on the strip, which crimps facilitate formation of a positive lock with an adjacent strip.
