  • Patent number: 9891130
Abstract: A system for testing a pressure sensor of a seat includes a loading device and a processor. The loading device removably applies weight to the seat. The processor receives a measurement of a pre-installation pressure offset of a bladder of the pressure sensor measured before installation of the pressure sensing assembly into the seat. The processor is programmed to receive a weighted measurement from the pressure sensor in the seat when the loading device applies weight to the seat and an empty seat measurement from the pressure sensor in the seat when the loading device does not apply weight to the seat. The processor determines a threshold value by subtracting the empty seat measurement from the weighted measurement. The processor determines a seat pressure offset value by subtracting the pre-installation pressure offset value from the threshold value. The processor compares the seat pressure offset value to a selected range.

A key of the keyboard may be pressed and released by a machine at measured speed; and resulting keystroke timing data may be collected from to identify timing delays and differences in delays between when the key is pressed and when the resulting timing data is collected by a computer. The timing delays and differences in delays may be used generate more accurate biometric templates and authentication inputs when a type of keyboard is used.

  • Patent number: 7950268
Abstract: A test fixture for rollover crash testing of a test vehicle onto a movable sled surface employs a cradle to support and rotate the test vehicle. A suspension assembly is attached to each end of the cradle for vertically supporting and dropping the cradle. A gantry has a cross beam supported by a first telescoping column for support of a first of the suspension assemblies and translationally supported by a second telescoping column for support of a second of the suspension assemblies to position and releasably hold the suspension assembly. Roll control arms rotate the cradle and a trigger assembly releases the cradle and test vehicle from the cross beam for contact within a drop impact zone on the contact surface of the sled. A brake assembly then arrests vertical motion of the cradle.
