Publication number: 20130145855Abstract: A testing apparatus includes a securing member, a first clipping panel, a second clipping panel, two mounting members, and a sliding member. The securing member includes a screw pole. The first clipping panel is secured to the screw pole. The second clipping panel is moveably attached to the screw pole, and the first clipping panel and the second clipping panel are attached to opposite side plates of an electronic device. The two mounting members are attached to the screw pole and located on opposite sides of the second clipping panel, for preventing the second clipping panel from disengaging from the electronic device. The sliding member is slidably attached to the screw pole and located between the first clipping panel and the second clipping panel, for moving the electronic device.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2012Publication date: June 13, 2013Applicants: HON HAI PRECISION INDUSTRY CO., LTD., HONG FU JIN PRECISION INDUSTRY (WUHAN) CO., LTD.Inventors: YU-LAN LIU, WEI-MIN QIN, YU-LIN LIU

Patent number: 8454822Abstract: Tangential flow filtration device is provided wherein liners are provided between the filtration element and the top and bottom holders or manifolds. The liners incorporate the flow channels and inlet and outlet ports, as well as a sensor mount. The liners are made of an inexpensive material and therefore are disposable after a single use, making it more cost effective to dispose of them than to clean the conventional manifolds. The sensor mount accommodates a removable sensor, and isolates it from the fluid path.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2010Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: EMD Millipore CorporationInventors: Martin Morrissey, Dennis Wong

Patent number: 8454232Abstract: A plug-in sensor for measuring at least one property of a fluid medium, in particular for use in the coolant circuit of an air conditioning system of a motor vehicle. The plug-in sensor has at least one sensor for detecting the at least one property. Furthermore, the plug-in sensor has at least one sensor body having an external thread for threading the plug-in sensor into a threaded bore hole of a housing. Furthermore, the plug-in sensor includes a sealing surface for sealing an inner space of the housing against an outer space. The external thread has at least two threaded sections: a first threaded section including at least one continuous thread, and a second threaded section including at least one interrupted thread, at least one interruption of the at least one interrupted thread forming at least one blow-out groove.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2008Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Oliver Stoll, Christian Roesser, Joerg Engelhardt

Patent number: 8454231Abstract: A mounting structure (34) for receiving a sensor (18) having a sensing portion (26) and a base portion (30) includes a substantially flat sheet of material (20) having a first surface (20a), a second surface (20b) opposite the first surface (20a), and an aperture (36). The aperture (36) is configured such that the sensing portion (26) of the sensor (18) is passable through the aperture (36), and the base portion (30) is not passable through the aperture (36), but instead rests on the first surface (20a). The mounting structure (34) also includes a pair of tabs (38) that extend in a downward direction away from the second surface (20b) of the sheet of material (20) and are configured to immobilize the sensor (18) within the aperture (36).Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2006Date of Patent: June 4, 2013Assignee: Carrier CorporationInventors: Merle D. Patent number: 8448914Abstract: A sensor arrangement for a vehicle window includes a mounting frame having an engagement portion, a sensor housing attachable to the mounting frame, a spring-loaded bracket connected to the sensor housing, and a two-arm lever. The lever is pivotably mounted to the bracket, wherein pivoting of the lever causes the bracket to compress and press the sensor housing against the mounting frame. The second lever arm engages the engagement portion of the mounting frame after the lever is further pivoted to a final assembly position to thereby hold the sensor housing in place against the mounting frame.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2011Date of Patent: May 28, 2013Assignee: Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. Patent number: 8448515Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for determining the point at which the distal end of the bluff body sensor of an averaging pitot tube makes anchoring contact with the inside wall of a fluid conducting conduit during insertion of the bluff body into the conduit, which method includes monitoring the amplitude of vibrations generated in the bluff body in response to the fluid flowing in the conduit by the use of an accelerometer carried by the bluff body and an associated readout instrument connected to the output of the accelerometer for displaying data responsive to the output of the accelerometer and specifically indicating a change in the sensed amplitude values which change advises that the support mode of a bluff body inserted into the conduit has altered.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2009Date of Patent: May 28, 2013Assignee: Dieterich Standard, Inc.Inventor: Charles T.
