  • Patent number: 10442499
Abstract: An actuation device of a control cable of a bicycle gearshift including a cable-winding bush rotatable about a rotation axis in a first angular direction between a first and a last angular position and in a second angular direction between the last and the first angular position, a rotary member mounted in a rotary manner about the rotation axis and a stationary member mounted in a non-rotary manner, wherein one of the two members is provided with at least one first pointer engaged on a fastening track formed on the other member, the fastening track extending along a closed loop path and having at least one first plurality of stop positions engageable in sequence by the pointer. A first stop position that determines the first angular position of the cable-winding bush is angularly spaced from the next stop position by an indexing angle.

  • Patent number: 9656844
Abstract: A hoist safety lock mechanism includes a pair of pawls formed on terminal ends of each corner of a pallet support structure. The pawls are biased outward to an extended position and include a lower support surface adapted to rest on a support surface. The pawls may be pivotally deflected downward (but not upward) due to impact on a top surface of the pawl. Each pawl is configured to be received within a respective parallel column of slots formed on inwardly-facing sides of the vertical posts forming the lifting frame of the hoist. The slots within each column are vertically offset and separated by separators which can vertically deflect the pawls. Because the slots are vertically offset, and because each terminal end includes a pair of pawls, there is always at least one pawl engaged within the slot even if the other of the pair is deflected by contact with a separator. Thus, any failure of the hoist will cause the pallet support structure to only fall to the next lower separator before the pawl catches it.

  • Patent number: 8181829
Abstract: A suction and dispensing tool (1) comprises: a cylinder (10) storing the fluid; a nozzle (20); a piston moving forward and backward in the cylinder (10); a piston rod (40) for driving the piston; and two ratchet type driving mechanisms (60) for driving the piston rod (40) forward and backward. The driving mechanism (60) comprises: a frame (50) having a handle (52), mounted to the cylinder (10), and two triggers (80) rotatably attached to the frame (50) at the front and rear sides of the handle (52). By rotating each of the triggers (80) to the handle (52), the piston rod (40) can be moved forward or backward. The rotating operation of the trigger (80) requires power smaller than an operation for directly pushing and drawing the piston rod by hand. Accordingly, it becomes possible to refill and dispense a high viscosity oil easily.

  • Patent number: 7959039
Abstract: A rod actuator particularly for a mastic gun comprises wear compensation and pressure relief. The wear compensation is effected by a biased catch plate. The catch plate is released from the rod in the actuator by a sleeve transmitting a releasing force applied to a brake plate through to the catch plate. The pressure relief is provided also by the sleeve riding on the rod such that when the trigger is released the rod is able to retreat by a limited amount defined by the movement of the release plate between a released and engaged relationship with the rod.

  • Publication number: 20100237105
Abstract: A material dispenser for receiving a material container and for dispensing material from the container is disclosed. The material dispenser includes a frame having a body, depending handle and an elongate cradle that extend forward from the body for retaining a material container. The material dispenser includes a trigger actuated plunger mechanism that is operative to push a piston in the material container to dispense material from the container. The material container is held in the material dispenser by a rear receptacle, a distal receptacle and is supported by the cradle. The dispenser includes a no-drool actuator lever that is operatively positioned forward of the trigger so that the operator may activate the actuator lever with the same hand that is being used to hold the dispenser. When the actuator lever is activated it relieves pressure on the plunger to thereby stop material from oozing unintentionally from the container.

  • Patent number: 7610823
Abstract: A two directional traversing mechanism uses a ratchet bar moved by an actuator to oscillate. Notches in the ratchet bar engage a pawl pivotally mounted to a piece of equipment so that the pawl and equipment move in the first direction. When the direction of the ratchet bar is reversed either the pawl is moved forward to an adjacent notch, or the pawl swings due to a biasing force such that when the ratchet bar again reverses direction, the ratchet bar causes the bar to pivot the pawl in a direction opposite the first direction. When the ratchet bar again operates in the reverse direction the pawl now engages with a notch of the ratchet bar and moves the equipment in the reverse direction.

  • Patent number: 7032786
Abstract: A caulking gun includes a gun body, a push rod, a push plate, an adjusting seat, a driving member, and an elastic member. Thus, the adjusting seat is movable in the gun body by rotation of the driving member to adjust the incline angle of the push plate by guidance of the tapered urging face of the adjusting seat so as to increase the incline angle of the locking hole of the push plate, so that the locking hole is locked on the push rod in a tilt manner so as to lock and move the push rod, without having to replace the push plate, thereby enhancing the lifetime of the caulking gun.

  • Patent number: 6745921
Abstract: A clutch mechanism for a hand tool comprises a body with a converging internal wall surface which is mounted on a rod. The body houses a set of ball bearings which are biased along the converging wall into an engaged position with a rod passing through the body. An axial force applied to one end of the body causes the balls to grip the rod. Whereas a force applied to the other end of the body releases the balls from the rod.

  • Patent number: 6176398
Abstract: An effective trigger grip power device is disclosed for countering piston rod lock due to wear and tear in conventional manual caulking guns. The device is shown in the context of an open frame (which may be a single piece of molded plastic) having a downwardly extending handle. A piston rod is slidably supported in the frame for dispensing caulking composition, and a trigger is pivoted to the frame and retractable against the handle. The effective trigger grip power device is positioned behind the gripping member and generally has a pushing member at one end for bearing against the gripping member to urge it into a vertical position, and a base section that is slidably channeled through the frame and extending rearwardly to said release lever for actuation thereby. In operation, depression of the release lever drives the effective trigger grip power device to urge the gripping member into a substantially vertical position to eliminate trigger lock.
