Reversible Patents (Class 74/146)
  • Patent number: 6927680
Abstract: An apparatus operable with a system which includes a body-side device and wheel-side devices and in which vehicle-state data such as wheel-state data representative of wheel states are transmitted by radio communication from the wheel-side devices to the body-side device, together with wheel identification data identifying the wheels. The apparatus includes antennas attached to each wheel inspecting device which is arranged to rotate the corresponding so that the antennas are sequentially aligned with the wheel-side device, and transmit trigger signals in response to which the wheel identification data are transmitted from the wheel-side device to the body-side device and registered in the body-side device. The apparatus assists the system so as to automate the registration of the wheel identification data, thereby eliminating a manual operation to bring a trigger device to the positions of the wheels to command the wheel-side devices to transmit the wheel identification data.

  • Patent number: 4156371
Abstract: A multi-functional control lever adapted for selectively operating on a front speed change device or a rear speed change device of a bicycle comprising a manually manipulable handle portion and a mounting portion rotatably mounted on a shaft. The lever has a housing for receiving a pin on the extremity of the cable and the cable is wound on one of two surfaces of the lever having different radii measured from the axis of rotation of the lever. The surfaces of different radii are brought into operative position by simple reversal of the lever on the shaft. The levers can be mounted at opposite sides of a common support block which supports the shaft and is attached to the frame of the bicycle.

  • Patent number: 4128152
Abstract: A ratchet transmission for height and weight adjustment of suspension seats of vehicles having two independent gear-shift-lever shafts rotatably disposed about a common axis within a gear casing, a pair of ratchet wheels being respectively rigidly fixed on the gear-shift-lever shafts, a cam disc abutted by the gear casing and swivelable around the axis of the gear-shift-lever shafts, a pair of counteracting and pre-tensioned pawls for each of the ratchet wheels which are selectively latchable thereto by turning the cam disc, a guide system for leading the vehicle seat in a straight line and a spring component, including an elevating screw turnable by one of the gear-shift-lever shafts, a roving nut and a compressed spring, the spring component being adjustable as a whole for, free of tension, the purpose of height adjustments, through one of the gear-shift-lever shafts, and the compressible spring being pre-tensioned through the other of the gear-shift-lever shafts, by axially moving the roving nut, which for
