Vehicle Propeller Shaft Patents (Class 74/15.69)
  • Patent number: 11813938
Abstract: An auxiliary power take-off assembly in a motor vehicle transmission, which has a torque converter, a transmission input and a transmission output. The auxiliary power take-off assembly includes: an input shaft at the transmission input, and which is permanently connected to a drive motor of the motor vehicle by way of the pump shaft of the torque converter; a transmission output shaft at the transmission output; a transmission chain, which includes an input element and an output element and the output element of which can be connected to an auxiliary assembly to be driven; and a switching element, which is operatively arranged between the input shaft and the input element of the transmission chain, to selectively connect the input shaft to the output element. The output element is arranged on an output shaft, which is mounted in a bearing cap.

  • Patent number: 8127632
Abstract: A shift device for a power take-off transmission. An input shaft is connectable to an output shaft with three gear pairs. The output shaft has a recess, in which a PTO stub shaft can be reversibly introduced. A mechanism, actuated by a PTO stub shaft actuates a gearshift sleeve, provided on the output shaft and rotationally fixed to the output shaft, is provided on the output shaft. In one shift position of the gearshift sleeve is rotationally fixed to a gear wheel of a first gear pair. In another shift position of the gearshift sleeve no fixed connection exists between the gearshift sleeve and gear wheel of the first gear pair. By means of a further gearshift sleeve a rotationally fixed connection can be established with a gear wheel of the second or the third gear pair.

Abstract: In a transmission for a working vehicle, a PTO input shaft is located with its rotational axis extending in a vehicle lengthwise direction substantially at a widthwise center of a transmission case along a vehicle width direction. A running power input shaft is located with its rotational axis extending in the vehicle lengthwise direction substantially at the same position as that of the PTO input shaft along the vehicle width direction and at a lower side of the PTO input shaft. The transmission case provides an accommodation space for accommodating a differential gear unit, which space is displaced to a first lateral side of the vehicle along the vehicle width direction. A running power transmission shaft is located on the front side of the space with its axis extending in the vehicle lengthwise direction, and the running power input shaft, the running power transmission shaft and the differential gear unit are interlocked to each other via a running power gear train.
