  • Patent number: 11565385
Abstract: A ratchet tool comprises a base, a ratchet body, a switching member and a pawl member. The base has a rail and is movable with linear motion along the rail between a first position and a second position, the ratchet body has plural teeth, and the pawl member is engaged with the switching member and comprises plural ratchet teeth, a first abutting portion and a second abutting portion. When the switching member is movable to the first position, the pawl member is pivotally rotated to a third position to make the ratchet teeth mesh with the teeth and the first abutting portion abut against the base, therefore the ratchet body enables to rotate along a first rotation direction. When the switching member is movable to the second position, the pawl member is pivotally rotated to a fourth position to make the ratchet teeth mesh with the teeth and the second abutting portion abut against the base, therefore the ratchet body enables to rotate along a second rotation direction.

  • Patent number: 8181829
Abstract: A suction and dispensing tool (1) comprises: a cylinder (10) storing the fluid; a nozzle (20); a piston moving forward and backward in the cylinder (10); a piston rod (40) for driving the piston; and two ratchet type driving mechanisms (60) for driving the piston rod (40) forward and backward. The driving mechanism (60) comprises: a frame (50) having a handle (52), mounted to the cylinder (10), and two triggers (80) rotatably attached to the frame (50) at the front and rear sides of the handle (52). By rotating each of the triggers (80) to the handle (52), the piston rod (40) can be moved forward or backward. The rotating operation of the trigger (80) requires power smaller than an operation for directly pushing and drawing the piston rod by hand. Accordingly, it becomes possible to refill and dispense a high viscosity oil easily.

  • Patent number: 7069811
Abstract: An actuation device of an adjustment unit for automotive vehicle seats has a hand lever and a frame. The frame carries the hand lever and accommodates an output shaft. The hand lever adopts a central position when the actuation device is in a position of rest, and may be pivoted alternatively in the two directions of rotation against the action of an elastic means biasing it in the central position. The hand lever has a first driving region. An adjustment wheel having circumferential gear teeth is centred on the output shaft. A pivotal lever has a long hole surrounding the output shaft, has a left engagement region and a right engagement region substantially extending as a continuation of the long hole. These regions are both provided with teeth matching the gear teeth of the adjustment wheel and being disengaged from the teeth of the adjustment wheel in the position of rest of the actuation device.

  • Patent number: 4802387
Abstract: A transmission is provided which has unidirectional output rotation in response to multidirectional input rotation. A reversing member is provided for changing the direction of rotation of the output member. A first mechansim rotates the output member in a first direction in response to a first direction of rotation of the input member, and this first mechanism does not drive the output member in response to a second direction of rotation of the input member. A second mechanism rotates said output member in the first direction in response to the second direction of rotation of the input member, and this mechanism does not drive the output member in response to the first direction of rotation of the input member. The axis of rotation of the input member and the axis of rotation of the output member are coaxial.

  • Patent number: 4650118
Abstract: A gear driven sprinkler head with a pop-up spray nozzle driven by a water-flow powered motor. The nozzle is rotated incrementally through an adjustable arc to irrigate a sector of a particular size, and it is automatically reversed at the end points of the selected irrigated sector. The nozzle may be interchanged with other nozzles to provide matched precipitation rates for sectors of different sizes. The feature of incremental rotation of the nozzle overcomes the problem of reduced throw distance at high rotational speeds encountered by the prior art assemblies of the same general type.

  • Patent number: 4098135
Abstract: A free wheel drive arrangement for a turnable member, especially for adjusting the position of backrests or window panes in automotive vehicles, includes a carrier arm tiltable about the axis of a circular adjusting member and a driving arm eccentrically mounted on the carrier arm for tilting movement with respect thereto between an active position, engaging the turnable member to turn the latter about its axis during turning of the driving arm with said carrier arm in one direction, and a free wheeling position, in which the driving arm is disengaged from the turnable member during turning of the driving arm with the carrier arm in a direction opposite to the one direction. Cooperating abutment means on the driving arm and the carrier arm maintain the driving arm in the free wheeling position during turning of the driving arm with the carrier arm in this opposite direction.
