Abstract: A one-way transmission structure is provided, which includes a sleeve and a rotating shaft passing through the sleeve, where the rotating shaft is fixed in the sleeve through a rope in a suspended manner, a first end of the rope hitches on the rotating shaft and forms a Prusik knot, and a second end of the rope is fastened on a side wall of the sleeve. In the one-way transmission structure, an active portion and a passive portion can be connected flexibly, which has advantages such as a simple structure, a low manufacturing and maintenance cost, and conveniences in mounting and maintenance.
Abstract: A footrest including a supporting bracket pivotally mounted to a motorcycle by a supporting bracket assembly. An elongate slot is formed in an upper surface of the supporting bracket, and a receiving chamber is formed in an underside of the bracket, the slot and chamber being in communication through a plurality of holes formed therebetween in the bracket. A resilient pad is disposed in the elongate slot, and a reflective rod is disposed within the chamber. A plurality of dowel posts project from the underside of the resilient pad and extend through the holes between the slot and the chamber to engage the reflective rod such that the pad and the reflective rod are retained in the supporting bracket.
Abstract: A lightweight frame supports a wheelchair platform for up and down movement between four vertical standards, one at each corner. A lifting mechanism includes a winch supported between two of the standards and connected to the platform by cables which pass over pulleys mounted in an upper cross bar pivotally secured and extending between the two posts with the pivot being offset from the longitudinal axis of the crossbar thereby giving a camming or offset partial rotational movement. The winch includes a one way clutch which is disengaged when the platform is elevated but engages automatically as soon as the platform starts to descend thus locking a brake drum to the winch.
Abstract: A friction impulse transmission mechanism, which finds application in mechanism engineering, electrical industry and power engineering for impulse driving of mechanisms allow a broad range of regulation of the revolutions, reduced skidding between the flexible elements and the end shaft, prolonged life-time and a constant transmission ratio. The mechanism comprises a driving shaft and an endshaft enveloped by two flexible elements. According to the invention the driving shaft is a crankshaft with two cranks disposed at a distance of 180 degrees one from the other, and the two flexible elements are each connected at one end to a tightening device. In the zone between the end points where the flexible elements fit the end shaft and the place where the flexible elements are connected to the driving shaft there is connected a device for stretching the flexible elements.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displacing a linear output member by wrapping at least a pair of flexible strands around the periphery of the linear member. The flexible strands are each attached at each end to spaced-apart rotatable members. Rotation of the rotatable members in opposite direction causes engagement of the flexible strands with the linear member as a wrap around the periphery of the linear member. After a grip is effected on the linear member, rotation of the rotatable members in the same direction causes the linear member to be linearly displaced.
Abstract: A device for melting a rod-shaped member of thermoplastic material and discharging the melted material includes a casing containing a melting chamber. A transport element within the casing grips the rod-shaped member and feeds it into the melting chamber. In a mechanism for displacing the transport element and thereby feeding the rod-shaped member, an overload member is provided which discontinues the displacement of the transport element when a predetermined pressure is exceeded within the melting chamber.
