  • Patent number: 11898505
Abstract: An improvement to snowmobile choke lever lift pull on/off assemblies that use a manual style choke system incorporating a single or plurality cable system. The sockets that engage the cables of the cable system may be provide lateral or upper access ports. The choke lever at the distal end of the assembly may be movable from a first position to a second position by engaging the cable system, wherein an actuating element returns the choke lever to the first position. The present invention affords replacement of existing choke lever assemblies, wherein the choke lever and other components of the present invention may be made from metallic materials that increase the assembly's durability and half-life.

  • Patent number: 11698099
Abstract: A cable release comprises a control handle, at least one retractable latch pin, and cables connected from the handle to the latch pins. The handle assembly includes a cup with a non-round orifice at one end. A rod within the cup passes through the handle allowing it to spin, so twisting the handle does not cross up its attached control lines. The latch pin assembly includes another cup and a set screw so that a stop tube may be inserted adjustably to establish a gap length between the stop tube and the retractable latch pin in the cup. A spring between the stop tube and a flange of the pin extends the pin when not pulled into a retracted position by the handle. Varying pin lengths and stop tube gaps allows a single pull of the handle to effect simultaneous or sequential releases of articles retained by the pins.

A flange (42) extends radially about the coupling body (36) and is disposed axially between a first and second ends (38, 40) of the coupling body (36). First and second isolators (52, 54) surround the coupling body (36) on opposite sides of the flange (42) and include first and second ribs (63, 64) projecting radially from first and second head portions (61, 62) of the isolators (52, 54). The first and second ribs (63, 64) contact an inner radial surface (122) of the support body (66) thereby spacing the first and second head portions (61, 62) from the support body (66).

Abstract: A braking system includes a central sprag, connected and perpendicular to the handlebar, projecting towards the front side of the cycle. At the end of the sprag, a terminal is inserted, free in rotation and equipped with two side holes in the lower part through which the flexible metal cable is inserted, which will be connected outside to the common levers activating the front and rear brakes of the vehicle. At the opposite end, on the contrary, the two lugs of the cable will be directly connected to the ends of the knobs of the handlebar. With the adjustment in length of the flexible cable connected to it, relating both to the front and rear braking device, activating one of the two cables placed in the front of the knobs of the handlebar will also pull the complementary cable by the rotation and consequent draw of the mobile central body, so getting a braking action also on the opposite wheel.

Abstract: A knob retainer system including a knob having a cavity and an opening into said cavity and a retainer adapted to fit within the knob cavity. The retainer includes wing portions and a cantilevered barbed portion. When the retainer is placed inside of the knob cavity and the actuating lever is manipulated between the retainer and an upper wall of the knob cavity, the actuating lever downwardly depresses the retainer thereby causing stakes located in the retainer to positively engage a portion of the cavity wall thereby preventing the retainer from moving with respect to the knob. The retainer is also fitted with a cantilevered portion which terminates in a barbed end. The barbed end positively engages an engagement surface on the actuating lever thereby preventing the actuating lever from pulling away from the knob/retainer assembly. The actuating lever is easily removed from the knob/retainer assembly by use of a specialized tool.

In open adjuster condition, the retaining pawl is displaceable such as to disengage the toothing arrangements thus allowing adjustment of a distance between the connecting eyelet and the core end.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for providing relative motion between two components of a cable window lifter which lie in the force transfer cord and are prestressed to one another, and functions as a dampener and for ensuring the provision of sensor signals for clamping protection, particularly if severe clamping leads to a sudden and complete standstill of the window pane. The device consists of a component on the casing side and a component positioned directly or indirectly thereto, on which the Bowden of a cable window lifter supports itself, whereby the two displaceable components that are connected to one another through friction locking components are pressed against reciprocally allocated stops by means of a prestressed spring. After completion of the assembly—the connection of the friction locking components is ensured against unintentional loosening through the prestressed spring or one of the components that can be displaced relative to another.
