Abstract: A process is provided for dyeing articles of unmodified polyolefin polymer with an aqueous dispersion of a fatty-acid-soluble, solvent dye, a fatty acid and an amine. After application of the dispersion to the article, the amine is volatilized from the applied dispersion. The process is particularly useful in providing novel, dyed, nonwoven fabrics made from polyethylene film fibrils.
Abstract: A colored, porous fluorocarbon material is provided wherein a porous layer of a colored dyeing-site resin is formed on all surfaces of the fluorocarbon material. This new material is made by a process whereby an auxiliary solvent which does not readily dissolve a dyeing-site resin, if at all, is added to a solution of the dyeing-site resin in a main solvent, and this is coated onto the surfaces of the fluorocarbon material and dried. The material may be dyed by adding dyestuff to the aforesaid solution or it may be dyed after coating and drying. The coated fluorocarbon material can be stretched.
Abstract: A colorant preparation containing(A) a colorant which is sparingly soluble or insoluble in water,(B) a plasticizer based on an ester and(C) a reaction product of a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol and ethylene oxide, a process for the production of this preparation and its use for pigmenting plastics.

Abstract: Heat transfer printing sheet wherein a pattern comprising a basic dye having the poor heat transferable property, an alkaline agent having a property of increasing the heat transferable property of the basic dye and a binder is formed on a base support sheet and also a resin film through which the basic dye can be passed when the heat transfer printing is carried out, but can not be passed through when the heat transfer printing is not carried out is formed on the pattern. The resin film can be provided on the right and/or back side surfaces of the base support sheet. Heat transfer printing method using the above heat transfer printing sheet with heat under pressure.
