Abstract: An insulated container for holding a beverage container, such as a bottle or a can, is disclosed. An insulation liner is provided in the container. The insulated container incorporates a bottle opener into the sidewall of the container. The bottle opener has a lip and a leverage surface. A magnet is provided on the leverage surface, to hold the cap after it has been removed from the bottle.

Abstract: An intelligent corkscrew device which determines the temperature of the bottle and informs the consumer as to what type of wine is suitable for that temperature. In a preferred embodiment, the corkscrew provides a temperature readout. Alternative embodiments provide entertainment features such as voice or other audio indications related to the temperature. Still other embodiments include visual indication such as lamps which indicate what type of wine would be proper for the temperature of the bottle being measured. The corkscrew uses thermal measurement of the exterior of the wine bottle to measure the temperature. The measurement is made by a temperature sensing device, such as a thermistor or infrared detector on the end of the lever arm or other suitable location.

Abstract: A bottle opener for opening polyethylene terephthalate bottles is disclosed to include a base, an adapter pivotally mounted in the base and defining therein an open chamber, retainers coupled between the base and the adapter and adapted for moving the cap of a polyethylene terephthalate bottle, each retainer having a toothed portion at one lateral side and a bearing portion adjacent to the toothed portion for stopping against the ribbed rim of the cap of the polyethylene terephthalate bottle to be opened to move the cap away from the polyethylene terephthalate bottle when the user biases the base relative to the polyethylene terephthalate bottle after attachment of the adapter to the cap.

Abstract: A fruit holder for removable attachment to the top of an open bottle such as, for example, an open beer bottle. The fruit holder is characterized by its construction including a bottle top engaging portion in fluid communicating relation to a beverage contained by the bottle, a funnel portion integrally formed above the bottle top engaging portion, and a wedge holder integrally formed on a segment of the funnel and extending outwardly from the funnel so that a fruit wedge may be placed and held on the wedge holder and juice from the fruit wedge, when squeezed, will flow along the wedge holder into the funnel, and through the bottle top engaging portion to the beverage contained by the bottle.

Abstract: A wearable garment with a stitched or otherwise secured accessory, which is preferably a one piece PVC or injection molded plastic accessory. The accessory includes a base for attachment to the garment and a disk in the general shape of a bottle cap and bottle flange. The disk is attached together with the base by a flexible tether. The base unit is glued, stitched or otherwise attached to the wearable garment and the, bottle cap shape, is snapped onto the base unit.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an USB antenna device with a bottle opener, which comprises a main body being a casing; a connector being mounted on an end of the main body; a bottle opener being concavely disposed on a side of the main body; and a wireless antenna for transmitting and receiving wireless signals or microwaves. In the present invention, the available limited space in the USB antenna device can be used efficiently because the wireless antenna occupying a certain area in the traditional USB antenna device is disposed corresponding to a bottle opener structure. That is, the USB antenna device of the present invention not only is easy to carry, but can also provide a function of opening the bottle.

Abstract: A multiple-function beverage container opener for lifting container lid lift tabs comprises a thin, relatively long and narrow body suitable for holding in a user's thumb and fingers. The body has a front edge and top and bottom surfaces, the front edge having a beveled top and undersurfaces at the edge that extends rearwardly at an acute angle with respect to the bottom and top surfaces whereby the opener edge may be slipped under a container lid tab. There is a ring aperture and an aperture for a bottle cap opener in the surfaces at opposite ends and the top and bottom parallel surfaces of the tool is bowed, and the perimeter is curved inwardly and outwardly. The opener is provided which features and is ergonomically-shaped. The bottle cap opener is located towards the end of the opener adjacent to the opposite the beveled edge which is the pry-bar type opener for the pull tab lids.

Abstract: The “invention” is a unique device that has but one relevant purpose and that is to engage both regular and large mouthed mason jars that have been vacuum sealed with a “dome lid” (without a ring), thus attached by a user screwing the invention's two tiered body onto the selected mason jar. The top tier of the invention receives a regular mouthed mason jar while the lower tier receives a large mouthed mason jar. Once screwed onto the existing jar the user depresses the appropriate level leaf spring, thus inserting the associated lifting pin underneath the lip of the present dome lid and then, while holding the mechanism inward, the user unscrews the invention's body causing a counterclockwise and upward force on the dome lid via the lifting pin separating the dome lid from the mason jar, opening it.

Abstract: Tools, such as nail clippers, include at least one lever pivotally movable towards and away from another portion of the tools. Yieldable gripping pads of elastomeric material such as rubber, yieldable plastic or the like are disposed on facing surfaces of the lever. The facing pads are usable for clamping about the screw on top of a bottle of nail polish inserted between the pads allowing twisting off of the top by counter-clockwise rotation of the tool relative to the nail polish bottle.

Abstract: The corkscrew according to the invention, which has the basic structure of a conventional corkscrew, comprising a helix (1) which fits into a handle (3) with a grooved configuration so that, in the operating condition of the helix (1), it may remain partially engaged within the grooved part of the handle (3), said handle (3) being hinged at one of its ends on a support arm (5), is principally characterized in that the handle (3) incorporates a metal core (7) with a basically U-shaped cross section, housing internally a longitudinally displaceable capsule-cutting knife (10) capable of protruding externally from the handle (3) and with a blade extended at the rear in the form of a widened segment (11) acting as a guide, having a lateral projection (12) protruding towards the outside of the handle (3) through a longitudinal groove (13) along which it is displaceable with the aid of the user's finger. In this way the knife may be easily extracted using only one hand.

Abstract: A combination beverage can opener and cover comprises a semi-circular sheet of plastic having a top surface and a bottom surface and a straight diametric edge having an arcuate notch located proximate the center of the edge. A tab is connected by a living hinge to a circumferential edge of the device midway along its circular perimeter. When used as an opener for a beverage can having a stay-on tab, the device is first slipped under the can's pull ring and used to lift the pull ring so as to rupture the prescored tab and bend it down into the can. To affect closure, the device is rotated about the can's rivet attachment until the semicircular sheet of plastic overlays the opening through which the contents are dispensed.

Abstract: A bottle opener for opening polyethylene terephthalate bottles is disclosed to include a base, an adapter pivotally mounted in the base and defining therein an open chamber, retainers coupled between the base and the adapter and adapted for moving the cap of a polyethylene terephthalate bottle, each retainer having a toothed portion at one lateral side and a bearing portion adjacent to the toothed portion for stopping against the ribbed rim of the cap of the polyethylene terephthalate bottle to be opened to move the cap away from the polyethylene terephthalate bottle when the user biases the base relative to the polyethylene terephthalate bottle after attachment of the adapter to the cap.

Abstract: Embodiments of an improved jar opener and method for loosening jar lids particularly suitable for persons with arthritic hands are generally described herein. The jar opener includes first and second leveraging elements coupled by a threaded rod and a dual-axis hinge assembly. The jar opener includes curved cut-out regions of different curvatures and the dual-axis hinge assembly includes selectable pivot points to accept jar lids of various diameters.

Abstract: One embodiment of a seal removal tool may include a handle, a seal grasping member, and a biasing member. The handle may have an end with a curved surface to roll back a seal. The seal grasping member may be adapted to move from an open extended position into a closed position in order to grasp and secure a seal. The rotational axis of the rotary drum is disposed at an angle to the connecting axis between the first and second chambers. A system for mixing at least two components uses such an opening device and a mixing container (18) having a connecting piece (19), to which the opening device is removably connected to establish a fluid connection.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system for pretreating sample that can unplug a rubber-plugged sample tube and a resin-plugged sample tube in one unplugging unit. The system for pretreating sample includes a sample rack on which a plugged sample tube can be mounted, a conveyor line for conveying the sample rack, and an unplugging unit that has a clamp device for holding the plugged sample tube at the time of unplugging and a plug chuck device for chucking the plug of the plugged sample tube held by the clamp device and unplugging the sample tube. The plug chuck device can unplug both the rubber-plugged and resin-plugged sample tubes. More specifically, the plug chuck device has a combination of an unplugging chuck having a suitable shape for unplugging the rubber-plugged sample tube and another unplugging chuck having a suitable shape for unplugging the resin-plugged sample tube.

A dent making element comprising an elongated fulcrum element is further formed on the lever body in physical association with the lift element but spaced away from the lift element so as to form a channel between the lift element and the fulcrum element. The channel is sized and shaped such that the lift tab of the pop-top can be sheaved in the channel between the lift element and the fulcrum element for manipulation of the lift tab to open the pop-top can. The opener further includes an edge gripper located on the lever body in physical association with the elongated fulcrum element.
