Abstract: A fence ruler for table circular saws includes a longitudinally extending profiled hollow body of mostly rectangular cross-section mountable onto a machine table. One side of the profiled hollow body is formed as a guiding leg with a protruding extension having on its front edge a guiding ruler for guiding lower work pieces. The guiding leg may also be positioned on the machine table to extend at a right angle from the same. A slide is positioned within the hollow space in the hollow body and is movable longitudinally from the outside. At least one catch protrudes from the hollow body and is guided through a longitudinal slot in the profiled hollow body that opens to the outside through an opening slot in the guiding ruler.

Abstract: The invention has two main components: a straight edge board and a pressure arm assembly. When used together, the two components will allow a table saw operator to safely and accurately straight line rip crooked material, typically lumber, in one continuous pass. When used without the straight edge board, the pressure arm assembly will keep the material tight against the table saw's rip fence while rip sawing or performing additional sawing techniques.

Abstract: A new table saw control system is provided. The system shortens the time required to learn how to operate a table saw, eliminates the necessity of making conversions from one measurement system or unit to another, reduces the likelihood of error occurring during the use of a table saw, and makes a table saw safer to use. The system includes a touch control screen mounted on the fence and moving simultaneously with the fence; and, a plurality of inter-related operational menus operatively associated with the computer and displayed sequentially on the screen and including button images activated by touch to generate signals to the computer to move from one of the menus to another of the menus and to control movement of the carriage and the fence.
