  • Patent number: 11159861
Abstract: A narrative includes a number of serially connected narrative segments combined by a director or editor in a defined sequence to tell a story. Quite frequently a number of different narrative segments are available to the director or editor. A content delivery editor provides editors and directors with the ability to augment a standard with additional narrative segments that provide alternate perspectives, view, or insights to the narrative consumer. Such provides the ability to convey the same narrative to the narrative consumer using a number of plots, storylines, or perspectives. Branch points in the narrative, defined by the editor or director, provide the narrative consumer the opportunity to follow a storyline they find interesting. Each narrative consumer follows a “personalized” path through the narrative. Through social media, narrative consumers are able to discuss the narrative path with other narrative consumers who have taken a different path through the narrative.

Abstract: The motorized cutter with wheels (10) comprises a motorized cutter (20) and a carriage (30). The motorized cutter (20) is equipped with an engine (24), a blade (22) rotatably driven by the engine (24), and a light-emitting unit (50) that generates laser light (52) in the same plane as the plane of rotation of the blade (22). A roadbed (90) is then cut along a line (X) drawn on the roadbed (90) by operating the motorized cutter with wheels (10) so that the line (X) is irradiated with the laser light (52). It is possible to remove the motorized cutter (20) from the carriage (30) together with the light-emitting unit (50).

Abstract: The invention relates to a hand machine-tool, especially electrical shears, comprising a housing (13) provided with a tool head (14) and a grip part (15), an electric motor (18) arranged in the housing (13), a switch (22) for the electric motor (18), and a drive shaft (16) mounted in the tool head (14), transversally to the housing axis. The drive shaft can be driven by the electric motor (18) by means of a transmission (19). The hand machine-tool also comprises a rotary tool (11) that can be fixed to the drive shaft (16). The aim of the invention is to create a compact, structurally small and lightweight hand machine-tool for work without generating fatigue. To this end, a small-volume, rechargeable energy accumulator, preferably a lithium ion accumulator (20), which feeds the electric motor (18) and has a high charging capacity, is arranged in the grip part, together with an electronic plate (21) and the switch.

Abstract: A powered vinyl groover includes a motor attached to a circular blade and a blade housing for covering the circular blade. The blade housing includes a duct to carry cuttings into a collection bag. Near an inlet hole of the duct is a fin, which may be a raised surface on any interior wall of the blade housing extending into the blade housing as close as possible to the blade. The fin causes airflow from the blade to be redirected towards the inlet hole of the duct so that more cuttings enter the duct and are carried by the duct through to an outlet hole to a collection bag mountable over the outlet hole of the duct. The fin may be integral with the blade housing or attached to it, and a fin may also be added to existing groovers.
