Patent number: 8806999Abstract: There is provided a deburring system for enabling perfect automation of deburring with which burr of a resin molded article is substantially perfectly removed after the resin molded article is manufactured at low cost not by using an expensive resin molding machine, but by using a conventional general-purpose molding machine. Furthermore, there are provided a deburring apparatus and a cutter blade with which burr of a resin molded article having an unstable shape can be easily and cleanly removed from the root thereof without using any expensive control device and any positioning device and also without using any expensive copying device.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2007Date of Patent: August 19, 2014Assignee: Nihon Shoryoku Kikai Co., Ltd.Inventor: Norio Tanaka

Publication number: 20030049080Abstract: A cut-off tool for cutting material includes a cutter body, an upper cutting roller and a lower cutting roller The rollers are coupled to the cutter body and form a channel for the material to pass through as the material is being cut. Each roller includes a roller body centered on an axis and having a front end and a back end and a cutting edge disposed between the front end and the back end. The cutting edge includes first and second tapered portions and a flat portion disposed between the first and second tapered portions. The first tapered portion extends from the back end and the second tapered portion extends from the front end.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 10, 2002Publication date: March 13, 2003Inventor: Michael C. Patent number: 5410929Abstract: The present invention discloses a device for recycling a tube such as a core having housing which has an upper side, a lower side, and a first side. Attached to the upper side is an input chute. The input chute receives the core. The bottom end of the core is fed into a traveling horizontal blade as well as a splitter blade. The travelling horizontal blade makes a horizontal cut proximate to the lower end of the core whereas the splitter blade makes a cut proximate to the lower or distal end of the core in a vertical direction. The same piston that pushes the splitter blade and traveling blade into the core then pushes the core into a stationary blade which makes another horizontal cut and separates a piece from the core which then drops into a storage area. The same piston which pushes the splitter blade and traveling blade can then push the pieces in the storage area toward a discharge chute.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1993Date of Patent: May 2, 1995Assignee: Fibercore Recycle Systems, Inc.Inventor: Marcus T. Patent number: 4662413Abstract: A roller (10) drives a workpiece (not shown, but to the right) along a fence. An electric motor (16) rotates the roller (10) through chains (18, 19) and a double sprocket (20) freely rotatable on an upright shaft (22). The roller (10) is rotatable in relation to an arm (26). The arm (26) is pivotable in relation to the shaft (22). A coil spring (30) around the shaft (22) is fastened at a lower end to a stop (32) and at an upper end of a collar (34), and urges the roller (10) towards the fence. The force of the spring (30) makes the roller (10) engage a wide workpiece strongly, and so increases its tractive effect.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 1986Date of Patent: May 5, 1987Assignee: Wadkin plcInventor: Reginald K. Patent number: 4553459Abstract: A method of opening an envelope along three edges, in which the envelope is moved to an opening or edge removing device along a supply path, one edge being guided along said device for cutting open or removing the edge. Next, the envelope is rotated through 90.degree. to be subsequently guided again along the opening or edge removing device for opening the second edge, which cycle is repeated for the third edge. An apparatus for performing this method includes a housing having an inlet path leading to the supply path along which the opening or edge removing device is arranged, a first set of members for moving and guiding the envelope co-extensively with the inlet path, and a second set of members for moving and guiding the envelope in a direction perpendicular to the inlet path along the opening or edge removing device, and a third set of members for guiding and moving the envelope along a quarter-circular path, which returns the envelope, turned 90 degrees, to the first set of members in the inlet path.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 1983Date of Patent: November 19, 1985Assignee: Hadewe B.V.Inventor: Jacobus F. Patent number: 4458567Abstract: A method for orienting a log, supported by rotating means, which is to be fed into a saw or a similar device. The upper edge line of the log profile is surveyed by two cameras placed in such a symmetrical position above the log that a line from the camera to the log in the feed plane forms an olbique angle with the feed plane. Each camera records the edge line viewed by it and the log is brought by orienting movements in such a position that the images of the edge lines as viewed by the cameras are substantially mirror images of each other.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 1982Date of Patent: July 10, 1984Assignee: A. Patent number: 4029196Abstract: A longitudinal lumber conveyor has sets of transverse tooth wheels aligned on each side of the axis of the conveyor. The tooth wheels are mounted on a lifting frame which may be lifted above the conveyor transport plane to rotate pieces of lumber thereon. After the pieces of lumber have been inspected the lifting frame and tooth wheels thereon are lowered and the pieces of lumber are then conveyed to the next processing station.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 1975Date of Patent: June 14, 1977Assignee: A.B.
