A nozzle is mounted on one end of the RAR valve, and the other end of the valve is in unconstrained pneumatic communication with the interior of the air tank. A piston is within a cylinder of the RAR valve. A control chamber behind the piston contains a compression spring. Control gas passageways provide constrained pneumatic communication between the control chamber and the air tank, passing control gas into the control chamber. In response to actuating a control mechanism, the air in the control chamber is vented out into the atmosphere causing the RAR valve to rapidly open, producing a blast of air of sufficient magnitude to seat a tire on a rim.

    Abstract: A glass cutter is provided which can form, using a wheel, a uniform crack in glass even when a projection or an earlier-formed scribe line is present on the glass. When the wheel is moved on the glass, a fracture layer is formed causing a rib mark to be formed below the fracture layer and a crack to be formed below the rib mark. To cut the glass, the crack is required to be formed uniformly. Applying a force to resist the rotating force of the wheel makes it possible to form a uniform crack even when a projection is present on the glass. This improves glass cutting yield.

    Abstract: A cutter with which a diagonal crack can be created without fail deeply within a brittle material substrate is provided. The cutter has such a form that two cones or truncated cones are joined through the same bottom so as to share the same rotational axis, and the circumference of the above described bottom is used as the blade edge ridge line. In addition, grooves that incline at a predetermined angle relative to the direction of the rotational axis are created around this blade edge ridge line at predetermined intervals. Furthermore, the angles between the sides of the above described two cones or truncated cones and the above described bottom are different from each other.
