Housing is pivotally connected to support plate by at least one member defining an axis around which housing is rotatable to playing of instrument and to facilitate viewing of hands of person and keys of keyboard while user is playing instrument. To further facilitate playing of instrument and visibility of hands and keys housing is curved with keyboard generally aligned therewith.

Abstract: A performer-supported keyboard is designed to be worn by a performer or technician, either while standing, or walking, or seated. The keyboard has an arcuate shape, and a rigid support frame, to be supported by one shoulder and the opposite waist of the performer or technician. Second or third keyboards may be associated with the performer-supported keyboard disclosed, and the entire assembly is designed to be readily put on or removed by a performer, and to permit maximum mobility.

Abstract: Adjacent primary digitals of a musical keyboard are actuated in the same fingering sequence for all key signatures. Each primary digital forms part of a three section group having two secondary digitals for producing the sharps and flats. Through a separate selector keyboard, the tones produced by selected digitals are shifted by a half-tone in accordance with a logic applied program to transpose operation of the keyboard to the selected key signature.
