Abstract: A device for turning pages in a book includes a main frame and a bottom support configured for engaging a bottom lip of a book's binder. The bottom support is hingedly connected to the main frame. A top support is configured for engaging a top lip of a book's binder. The top support is hingedly connected to the main frame. A kick stand extends from a back surface of the main frame for providing support to the device. A light is carried by the bottom support or top support for providing illumination of the book. A pair of blades extend from one of the bottom support or the top support for imparting movement of pages of the book to a subsequent page. An actuator imparts movement to the blades and the actuator is responsive to detecting a user's audible instruction to change a page.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a booklet page turning apparatus includes a guide member which is provided near a vacuum pad to freely project/retreat from a plane corresponding to the suction surface of the vacuum pad, the guide member moving integrally with the vacuum pad and coming into contact with a page of a booklet at the page turning position to regulate rising of the page.
Abstract: A mechanism is disclosed for automatically turning pages of a music manuscript or the like. The manuscript is supported on a music stand or the like, with the upper edges of its pages at or near the top of the support. Behind the support is a shaft mounting a plurality of pivotally movable, spring actuated control plates, each mounting a wire-like page turner element having an elongated laterally extending portion engagable with an outer upper corner area of a manuscript page. A sequential release mechanism, including a release pawl, operates in sequence to release the control plate for allowing the top most page of the manuscript to be turned, after first blocking the control plate for the next subsequent page to be turned. The release pawl mechanism permits any number of pages to be quickly back turned and brought into position for subsequent one-at-a-time release by the mechanism.
Abstract: A page turning device is provided in which a first elongated arm is rotatably mounted for circular motion substantially parallel to but above the plane of the volume. A page lifting facility cooperates with the rotation of the first elongated arm to permit the first elongated arm to rotate between a lifted upper leaf and the remainder of the leaves of the volume. Continued rotation of the first elongated arm turns the upper leaf and positions the arm for turning of the next leaf. In this manner an unlimited number of leaves may be sequentially turned by a mechanically simple device which is immediately ready for use when a volume is positioned thereon.
