  • Patent number: 11898589
Abstract: A barrel nut assembly for use on a variety of firearms is provided. The assembly is made up of a barrel nut, generally cylindrical in shape with a threaded central bore, and an externally threaded locknut which is used in conjunction with the barrel nut to secure a barrel to a firearm upper receiver. The barrel nut has an integral bushing on its exterior constructed to support either the gas tube or piston of the host firearm's operating system. The barrel nut is configured so that it may be independently and non-rotationally held within a vice or other fixture during installation of the barrel and while the locknut is tightened to a preset torque to hold the barrel in place. The barrel nut assembly affords the user a method and apparatus that aligns a central bore in the bushing with the opening in the upper receiver that receives an operating system component of the firearm while the barrel nut is independent of the torque applied to the locknut to properly secure the barrel to the upper receiver.

  • Patent number: 11713936
Abstract: A fixed-to-tilted silencer adaptor for three-lug attachments enables the use of tilting barrel gun silencers or fixed non-moving barrel gun silencers with different guns of the same caliber. The present invention enables users to utilize a gun silencer with the desired gun even if the gun silencer does not match the design of the gun. To do so, the present invention may comprise a recoil booster and a three-lug adaptor. The recoil booster is designed to accommodate the movement of a tilting barrel while facilitating the connection between the gun silencer and the gun's barrel. The recoil booster also securely receives the three-lug adaptor to facilitate the quick attachment of the recoil booster to the gun's barrel. The three-lug adaptor is designed to enable the quick attachment of the recoil booster to the gun's barrel without interfering with the movement of the gun's barrel when connected to a tilted barrel.

  • Patent number: 8261480
Abstract: A rigid composite structure has a bore formed in a metallic material and a super hard interior segment or segments disposed within the bore. Each segment may be lined adjacent to one another and held under compression within the bore. The segments may be made of super hard materials such as natural diamond, synthetic diamond, polycrystalline diamond, single crystalline diamond, cubic boron nitrate or other superhard composite materials which exhibit low thermal expansion rates and are generally chemically inert. The resultant rigid composite structure may possess higher tolerances to high pressures and high temperatures.

Abstract: A gun barrel with a gun barrel liner and a breech ring, which are joined with each other by a bayonet thread. A continuous cavity is left between adjacent bayonet ridges of the gun barrel liner and the bayonet ridges of the breech ring that are located axially behind them or in front of them. A locking segment is inserted in at least one of the cavities that is formed in the installed gun barrel liner between adjacent bayonet ridges of the gun barrel liner and the bayonet ridges of the breech ring to prevent unintentional detachment of the gun barrel liner from the breech ring. The locking segment can completely fill the corresponding cavity.
