By Adjustment Of Transmission Or Reaction Element Patents (Class 91/483)
  • Patent number: 11268499
Abstract: Displacement control device for variably adjusting the displacement of an axial piston hydraulic pump including a rotary shaft rotatable around a shaft axis. A torque can be applied for rotating the rotary shaft to open and close servo pressure lines to adjust the displacement volume of the axial piston hydraulic pump. Concentric to the shaft axis in a mid-portion of the rotary shaft a detent sleeve is positioned having an abutment area onto which, in the neutral position, a sliding element abuts. The detent sleeve, in operating conditions is rotatably fixed with the rotary shaft and turns with the rotary shaft and for neutral position adjustments in non-operating conditions, the detent sleeve and the rotary shaft are detachable from each other such that the rotary shaft can be turned relative and independently within the detent sleeve, which is held in its neutral position by the sliding element.

  • Patent number: 8449266
Abstract: A control valve for a variable displacement compressor, in which the discharge pressure of the compressor introduced into a pressure sensing section applies urging force to a movement member, and a solenoid section applies, in cooperation with the urging force, urging force to the movement member depending on an input signal. The degree of opening of a valve body provided at the movement member is set according to the position of the movement member to regulate the rate of air flow in a communication path for interconnecting a discharge pressure region of the compressor and a compressor inner chamber. The suction pressure of the compressor is introduced into a control valve to apply urging force to the movement member, and communication between fluid having the discharge pressure introduced into the pressure sensing section and fluid having the suction pressure introduced into the control valve is shut off.

Abstract: An air motor for small manually powered recreational boats. The overall system includes a manually powered pump which supplys pressurized air to accumulator tanks through check valves, a throttle to pass selected quantities of pressurized air from the tanks to an air motor, and the motor which converts the air pressure to rotational motion which drives an underwater propellor to move the boat. The air motor includes at least two sets of valves and power piston assemblies. A control cam and a power cam are mounted on a rotatable crankshaft which also drives the propellor. The control cam actuates the valves to direct air therefrom in a properly timed sequence. The power piston rods press on the power cam (functioning as a lever arm) to cause rotation of the crankshaft. This air motor assembly is compact, lightweight, smooth running and energy efficient.

  • Patent number: 4352319
Abstract: The invention relates to a positive control especially radial piston motors for hydrostatic motors. Such control, while permitting a large range of rotational speed, is capable of avoiding disturbances in the oil flow occurring during coverage of the edges of includes slide valves and provides optimum smoothness of operation of the hydrostatic drive. It is the object of each slide valve to control the connection between an associated working cylinder and the inflow and outflow of the pressure medium. It is a further object of the slide valve to establish connection between the associated working cylinder and a pressure equalizing conduit, at least during coverage of a first pair of control edges, i.e. in a phase during which the working cylinder is cut off both from the pressure medium intake and from the pressure medium outlet. For this purpose the slide valve is provided with a second pair of control edges.
