  • Patent number: 11389758
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a vertical type combined filter separator, including a shell. The inside of the shell is divided into a first cavity, a second cavity, a third cavity, a fourth cavity and a fifth cavity in sequence from a first end to a second end. A gas intake connection pipe is arranged on the second cavity, and several cyclone separators are arranged in the second cavity. For each cyclone separator, a gas inlet is exposed into the second cavity, a dust discharging port communicates with the first cavity, and an exhaust port communicates with the third cavity. The third cavity passes through the fourth cavity through the communicating pipe and directly communicates with the fifth cavity. The fifth cavity communicates with the fourth cavity through a filter separation assembly. A gas outlet connection pipe for discharging separated purified gas is arranged on the fourth cavity.

  • Patent number: 8398744
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system for minimizing a quantity of particulate matter entrained within a gas stream is provided. A coarse filter removes at least a portion of particulate matter having a relatively-large particle size from the gas stream. An agglomerator agglomerates particulate matter having a relatively-small particle size remaining in the gas stream into particulate clusters after the portion of the particulate matter having the relatively-large particle size has been removed by the coarse filter. An injector introduces an agglomerating material into the gas stream before the gas stream enters the agglomerator. The agglomerating material promotes agglomeration of the particulate matter having the relatively-small particle size into the particulate clusters. And a second filter receives the gas stream and removes at least a portion of the particulate clusters entrained within the gas stream exiting the agglomerator.

  • Publication number: 20130011321
Abstract: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus comprises an ammonia absorption system and an ammonia conversion system. The ammonia absorption receives ammonia-containing tail gas generated by a semiconductor process, and removes dust from the tail gas, absorbs and decomposes ammonia gas from the tail gas, converts the ammonia gas into aqueous ammonia, and emits the tail gas without the dust and the ammonia to an external environment. The ammonia conversion system receives the ammonia solution from the ammonia absorption system, and converts it into gaseous ammonia, and then converts the gaseous ammonia to produce liquid ammonia by vaporization and cooling-pressurized liquefaction. After that, the liquid ammonia is purified by a purification system to formed hi-purity liquid ammonia.

  • Patent number: 8343246
Abstract: A separator is provided. The separator in which the flow is conducted using separation elements from an inflow to an outflow in such a manner that at reversal points media separators deposit a separation medium. Depending on the flow through them and the orientation with respect to the acceleration due to gravity, individually shaped separating elements are arranged in such a manner that at least two different paths of the flow along the separating elements in the separator form.

  • Patent number: 7048776
Abstract: A method and system removes nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) agents from an air stream from a facility HVAC. The system includes an irradiation zone, a saturation zone and a precipitation zone. A contaminant detection apparatus controls the irradiation, saturation and precipitation of the air stream. The irradiation destroys biological agents along with saturation of air stream with a water based solution. The biological debris and dissolved chemical agents are precipitated out of the air stream by condenser coils. Nuclear agents are removed from the air stream by a diverting the air stream though a bypass filter containing high mass particulate filters and activated charcoal. The contaminants are stored for later removal and destruction. The contaminate detection apparatus includes NBC sensors.

  • Patent number: 6551380
Abstract: A gas separation apparatus and process has a first pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit (110) receiving feed gas (112), which comprises a first and a second component. First PSA unit (110) produces first product gas (114) pre-dominantly containing the first component, and first off gas (116) containing at least some of the first component and second component. Compressor (120) is coupled to first PSA unit (110) to compress first off gas (116) to form compressed off gas (126), which is passed downstream to absorber unit (130), which employs a solvent to remove at least part of the second component from compressed off gas (126), forming an enriched compressed off gas (136B). Second PSA unit (140) receives enriched compressed off gas (136B) and produces second product gas (142) which predominantly contains the first component and a second off gas that is sent to waste or reformer burner (150).
