  • Patent number: 8578840
Abstract: A dispensing device for dispensing coffee, milk, and/or milk foam includes a first fluid duct for supplying coffee and a second fluid duct for supplying steam. The first fluid duct opens into one coffee discharge pipe. The second fluid duct has an outlet opening for steam. The dispensing device includes a mixing arrangement for mixing milk with steam and/or air, and a housing. The mixing arrangement includes a milk duct, air duct, inlet opening, and a discharge pipe. The housing partially surrounds the fluid ducts, discharge pipe, and mixing arrangement, and includes a first and second housing part. The first housing part houses the fluid ducts, and the second housing part includes a recess for the mixing arrangement. The mixing arrangement may be positioned relative to the second fluid duct to produce a fluid connection between the second fluid duct outlet opening and the mixing arrangement inlet opening.

Abstract: A method and apparatus using steam to sterilize liquid dispensers. This is achieved by injecting steam into a drained dispenser machine equipped with a cover having a safety valve that matches the top of the dispenser to provide sealing. The steam is generated by a steam generator physically integrated with the new liquid dispenser machine. The steam circulates through the fluid compartment of the liquid dispenser and continues through its conduits and exits at the taps which are held open by a stepped boss. The sanitizing period can be adjusted and controlled. After sterilizing the machine, the cap of the dispenser is removed and its taps are released in order to return the machine back to its normal operation.

  • Patent number: 7770511
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and method for preparing liquid from solid materials such as medicinal materials. It includes liquid and materials for preparing the liquid at the beginning and the end of the process. The device uses a steam generator, an intermediate switch valve and a material chamber, which are connected sequentially with pipes, and further includes an outlet pipe, which is at the bottom of the material chamber. The method involves the steps of: distillation and absorption; immersion; and repetition. The device and method for preparing liquid alternates the distillation and immersion steps, which reduces harmful substance in the prepared liquid that would otherwise occur by conventional methods. The method not only extracts soluble effective matter, but also reduces loss of volatile effective matter. Ultimately, the method makes the steps for preparing liquid simple and clear, and it can prepare liquid quantitatively, effectively and without pasty and shrinkable characteristics.
