The plate is disposed within the housing, and is so shaped for providing the edible spoons that dissociate into the consumable predetermined clumps in order to prevent the dissociating into the random granules that would make the consumption more difficult. The electrical circuit heats up the plate.

Abstract: A small cooking appliance comprises a bottom housing, a top housing, and a ring assembly. The bottom housing has a top surface that forms a bottom cooking surface of the appliance. The top housing has a bottom surface that forms a top cooking surface of the appliance. The top housing is movably attached to the bottom housing and moveable between a closed position and an open position. The ring assembly is positionable between the top and bottom cooking surfaces when the top housing is in its closed position. The ring assembly comprises a top ring, a bottom ring, and an optional center cooking plate. The center cooking plate is movable between (i) a closed position in which a space defined by the ring assembly is divided into top and bottom cooking cavities and (ii) an open position.

Abstract: There is provided a toaster grill having a lower housing that supports a lower cooking surface and an upper housing that supports an upper cooking surface. The upper housing pivots with respect to a “U” shaped frame that is hinged with respect to the lower cooking surface. A locking hinge allows the pivoting motion of the frame to be automatically arrested in an intermediate orientation between the fully closed and fully open grill orientations. The locking hinge automatically resets when the upper housing is rotated from the fully open grill orientation to the fully closed orientation.

Abstract: An apparatus for cooking a food item therein is disclosed. The apparatus has a housing defining an interior and includes at least first and second opposed walls. A rotating member is positioned between the first and second walls of the housing, and the rotating member is capable of engaging and rotating the food item. A drive mechanism is mounted on the apparatus for rotating the rotating member. A heating element is positioned adjacent the second wall of the housing, and a blackbody radiator is positioned between the rotating member and the heating element. The heating element heats a first side of the blackbody radiator and a second side of the blackbody radiator emits radiation in a highly effective wavelength spectrum toward the food item. The apparatus also includes a self cleaning system for cleaning the interior.

Abstract: A portable electric grilling appliance (20) for household use which has first and second heating units (22, 24) which, in use, overlie one another has substantially identical housing shells to make it evident to the user that the grilling appliance (20) can be used with either one of the heating units as the lower heating unit and provide support for the other heating unit. The two heating units (22, 24) have substantially the same exterior appearance and both are designed to function as either the top heating unit or the bottom heating unit. The two heating units (22, 24) are substantially symmetrical about a horizontal plane extending between them when the heating units are arranged one on top of the other to indicate to the user of the appliance that either heating unit could be placed on top and the other on the bottom.

Abstract: A donut making arrangement includes a drip tray for placement over a source of cooking heat, and a donut maker with base and cover. The base has a head defining a recess for receiving batter and cover has a lid for engaging over the recess. The head and lid have shapes and sizes to engage into the opening so that when the batter has been cooked to a selected extent on one side, aligned handles connected to the head and lid are used to turn the donut maker over to cook the batter on the opposite side to create a donut.

Abstract: A baking assembly for preparing a baked filled waffle is disclosed. The baking assembly comprises an upper plate and a lower plate each of the plates having a baking surface with a plurality of outer pyramids and a plurality of inner pyramids. Each of the outer pyramids have a height that is greater than the height of the inner pyramids. The upper plate is receivable on the lower plate and when so received the outer pyramids of the upper plate align with the outer pyramids of the inner plate to form a plurality of pinch points. The inner pyramids of the upper plate align with the inner pyramids of the lower plate when the upper plate is received on the lower plate and thereby form a pocket region defined between the inner pyramids of the upper plate and the inner pyramids of the lower plate.

Abstract: A pie maker is disclosed for making a pie having a base, a side wall and a cover. The pie maker comprises a mould assembly to define the shape of the pie. The mould assembly comprises cooperating first and second moulds, the first mould defining the shape of the pie base and the side wall and the second mould defining the shape of the pie cover. Heating elements are provided for heating the first and second moulds to cook the pie, the heating element for heating the first mould being arranged to direct heat to a portion of the first mould which defines the shape of the side wall of the pie. A sealing ridge is formed in the first mould and the second mould for sealing the pie cover and the pie side wall together.

Abstract: A sandwich oven comprising, a base plate having a first plurality of sandwich sized mold indentations therein, a top plate pivotally mounted to said base plate having a second plurality of sandwich sized mold indentations therein, corresponding to said first plurality of indentations in said base plate, and a heating device connected to said top and base plates. The first and second indentations define a plurality of sandwich molds when the top plate is pivoted into its closed position with the base plate. The heating device heats the plurality of sandwich molds causing a sandwich construction therein to be cooked. A timer is connected to the heat means for determining the duration of heating of the molds and a resistive heating element with a selected configuration is provided in the base of each indentation in at least one of the top and base plates. The resistance heating element is energized, causing a branding or marking of the sandwich with the selected configuration.

Abstract: A machine comprising means for continuous extruding a strand of sausages surrounded by a covering of a pre-made dough, cutting the strand into portions of predetermined length, supporting cut off portions and transferring the same for frying, frying the cut off portions in oil and removing the fried portions in timed sequence with cutting towards a container for the finished product, and a food product comprising fried dough-enclosed sausages produced by the machine.
