Interrelated Drive Means For Huller And Gas-move Patents (Class 99/529)
  • Patent number: 7509907
Abstract: A frothing device adaptable to a steam outlet for producing milk froth comprising a steam inlet, a milk inlet, an air inlet, a vacuum chamber adapted to receive steam, liquid milk and air therein, a restriction with a limited cross-section adapted for conducting the product there through at high velocity, an emulsifying chamber; the emulsifying chamber having an outlet for draining the product froth out of the chamber and a froth flow regulation system configured for breaking the kinetic energy of the froth stream and for changing its direction sufficiently so that the froth is gently delivered out of the device. The frothing device can be mounted on a coffee machine to deliver cappuccino upon a push of a button.

  • Patent number: 6941859
Abstract: An agitating device is provided that may be mounted inside a rotating nut hulling tub for increasing the agitation of the nuts, thereby increasing the hulling speed, especially important for pistachio nuts. The device comprises a bracket capable of being attached to the inside cover of a rotatable nut hulling tub, which has side wall protrusions for hulling nuts. There are at least four brackets attached to the cover at cardinal points. Each bracket has a series of three holes and three tub fingers. The tub fingers are capable of being attached to the bracket so the fingers hang downwardly into the tub in contact with the nuts, thereby agitating the nuts as they move inside the rotatable tub. The tub fingers are capable of assisting in knocking off the nut hulls and causing the nuts to move against the side wall protrusions at a faster rate, thereby speeding up the nut hulling process.

  • Patent number: 4392421
Abstract: A rice hulling and sorting machine includes a pair of hulling rolls which drop husked rice grains into a pneumatic sorting compartment which the husks are preliminary sorted from the rice grains; the rice grains thereafter being thrown upwardly into one end of the upper of two horizontally mounted rotating sorting cylinders. The interior surfaces of these cylinders have a multitude of recesses for trapping single rice grains at the bottom of their circumferential paths of movement to carry them upwardly and dropping them into conveying troughs which run the length of the interiors of the cylinders. Rice grains which are not trapped in the upper cylinder are fed back into the hulling rolls while those dropped into the upper trough are fed to the lower interior of the lower cylinder where they are again subject to being trapped in the recesses of the lower cylinder and dropped into the lower conveyor trough.

  • Patent number: 3952645
Abstract: Apparatus comprising hulling means, winnowing means, sorting means, and conveyor means. Said hulling and winnowing means are housed in a platform-like box having longer longitudinal sides and shorter transverse sides. The sorting means is operated to move along the longitudinal sides of box, and the path of circulation of grain through the hulling means, conveyor means and sorting means is made short by locating them adjacently to each other.
