Abstract: A jewelry item includes a plurality of components mounted in an end-to-end relationship on and along an annular, elastic support. Each component has two, generally planar end walls and an aperture for receiving the support and extending between the end walls. The end walls of adjacent components engage each other in surface area contact. The support can be a strap or a pair of wires. At least one of the components has a setting for a gemstone.
