Abstract: A flat blank of stiff, foldable paper or paperboard is folded to form a multi-sided luminary with a top in the shape of truncated, open top pyramid. One end of each of the sides includes a trapezoidal panel extending therefrom, the longest base of the trapezoidal panel being substantially the same length as and foldably secured to the adjacent end of the corresponding side. Each of the sides of the luminary include one or more cutouts giving the appearance of a seasonal symbol. The bottom is closed and, in a preferred embodiment, includes a seat therein for retaining a light source such as a candle.
Abstract: A non-electric candle lamp generally comprising a base member defining an upper surface including a recess and an elongate slot formed therein. Releasably engaged to the upper surface of the base member is a diffuser member which defines front and back surfaces and a lower edge portion which is receivable into the slot. Received into the recess of the base member is a candle cup including a candle disposed therein. The slot is formed in the upper surface of the base member in a manner wherein the diffuser member is angled toward the candle cup when the lower edge portion is received into the slot.
Abstract: A candle lamp including securing means for removably attaching a container to a socket. The securing means includes grooves formed in the container for receiving tongues protruding from the inside of a socket. Fingers also protrude inside the socket for gripping the tapered bottom portion of the container. A rib extends outward in the socket for preventing containers smaller than the proper container from being seated upright in the socket. The socket cooperating with the container includes an air circulating pathway for safeguarding the lamp from a harmful build up of heat.
