[n: Consisting Essentially Of Organic Resins] [n0804] {g11b 7/254b} Patents (Class G9B/7.182)
  • Patent number: 8703264
Abstract: Provided is an optical disc in which at least a light reflecting layer and a light transmitting layer that includes a cured film of an ultraviolet curable composition are stacked on a substrate, and information is reproduced by making a blue laser beam be incident on the optical disc from a side of the light transmitting layer, wherein an elastic modulus (25° C.) measured by indenting a Vickers indenter having a vertex angle of 136° under a load of 100 mN into a surface of the cured film of the ultraviolet curable composition is 1,500 MPa or less; and a loss modulus (E?) at 60° C. in a dynamic viscoelastic spectrum of the cured film measured at a frequency of 3.5 Hz is 10 MPa or less. Thus, warpage is reduced during curing and plastic deformation is less likely even under a load for a long period of time.

  • Patent number: 8334039
Abstract: The present invention provides an ultraviolet-curable resin composition, comprising a silicone compound represented by the following formula (1): [Chemical Formula 1] (CH3)3Si—O-A-Si(CH3)3??(1) (wherein A represents a group in which n structural units represented by a chemical formula (2) and m structural units represented by a chemical formula (3) are bonded in a random form or block form, n is an integer ranging from 1 to 15, n/m is 1/5 to 1/20, and two structural units represented by the above chemical formulas (2) and (2), (2) and (3), (3) and (3) are not bonded by oxygen-oxygen bond and a photocurable compound that reacts with the silicone compound. The present invention also provides an optical information recording medium having a surface protective layer with an excellent spot prevention function and spot wipe-ability.

  • Patent number: 8012560
Abstract: An optical disc (10) includes a substrate (11), which is formed from either a resin-impregnated paper produced by impregnating a paper with a resin, or a resin-coated paper produced by coating a surface of a paper with a resin, and a recording layer (13), wherein the resin contains at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polycarbonates, bisphenol A epoxy resins, copolymers of methyl methacrylate and styrene, and copolymers of acrylonitrile and styrene. Furthermore, a method of manufacturing an optical disc (20) includes: providing a recording layer sheet by forming tracks on a recording base material; and bonding the recording layer sheet to a resin-impregnated paper or a resin-coated paper, thereby providing a recording layer (13) formed from the recording layer sheet on the substrate (11).
