Abstract: A method of manufacturing a synthetic tissue model using one or more semi-flexible polymers or resin with at least one embedded mesh material is provided herein. The model provides suitable simulation of animal tissue designed to mimic tissue stiffness through varying the polymerization to simulate tissue stiffness level. Multiple polymers or multiple layers of polymer possessing different polymerization levels can be used to simulate tissues with different layers, such as skin. A mesh incorporated in the model provides durability, and can simulate layers of tissue through selection of the mesh material. A skin model using silicone-like material with a nylon tulle mesh was used to simulate skin for surgical procedures. The nylon tulle mesh increased resistance to tearing over time, due to insertion of surgical tools, thereby increasing usable life of the model and enhancing training as the model simulated skin for longer periods of time.

Also, an actuator coupled to the user-manipulatable control can be used to move one or more grips, magnet-carrying elements, slides, wings, or clamping members to releasably secure the mop pad to the mop head, or to selectively magnetize one or more magnets for release and/or attachment of the mop pad.

Abstract: A mop head with an attachment part for receiving a handle. The attachment part is arranged to slide along the mop head between at least two fixed positions, in which the attachment part cooperates with the mop head in a locking fashion through the action of locking elements. The attachment part is provided with at least one unlocking element that, when a force directed towards another fixed position is applied on the unlocking element, by acting on the locking element cancels the locking cooperation between the attachment part an the mop head. In particularly advantageous embodiments, the unlocking elements are embodied as ears arranged at the attachment part. Further, the locking elements may include attachment lips arranged on the unlocking elements that cooperate with attachment bores on the mop head. The attachment part may also be arranged to slide in a groove in the mop head with a receiving element.

Abstract: Cleaning devices which use cleaning sheets affixed in traps are disclosed. The traps comprise first and second jaws, each comprising base and forward portions, each forward position having a forward surface. The forward portion of the second jaw is flexible in at least a first direction, such as towards a surface over which the device is configured to move. When the second jaw is relaxed, the forward portion of the second jaw is substantially coplanar with the forward portion of the first jaw and the forward surfaces are proximate or touching. When the second jaw is flexed in the first direction (e.g., by the application of a force from a user), the forward surface of the forward portion of the second jaw moves in the first direction, away from the forward surface of the first jaw. This opens a gap through which a portion of a sheet may be inserted.
