Abstract: Serving platter systems for grill to table convenience are disclosed herein. Various embodiments include a platter including a dorsal plater surface and a cutting board including a ventral cutting board surface. In some embodiments the ventral cutting board surface seamlessly engages with the dorsal platter surface to form the serving platter system for grill to table convenience. In various embodiments the dorsal cutting board surface further comprises an indentation for trapping juices from grilled food items. Furthermore, the dorsal platter surface comprises a fluid receiving indentation section of the dorsal platter surface for receiving juices from grilled food items.

Abstract: A Putrello lift assist work belt used for manual conveyance that includes a contoured weight bearing ledge that when structurally coupled with the back support belt and shoulder straps form a Putrello lift assist work belt system able to transfer substantial weight of the load being carried by manual conveyance to the hips and legs thus relieving stress and strain on the users back and arms. The elements and attributes of the Putrello lift assist work belt combine to form a manual conveyance lifting system that provides excellent rigidity and resistance to leverage force that results from having a heavy object extended and positioned in front of one's body thus preventing injury to the back, shoulders, and arms.

Abstract: An upright sleep support system incorporates a head cushion having a face relief aperture to receive the eyes, nose, mouth and chin of a passenger placing his or her face against the head cushion with a hinged support structure for angular adjustment, sleeves that open in front to support the passengers arms, and a chest cushion on the back of the device. The chest cushion receives the passenger's chest in a forward leaning position. The head cushion is deployable from a backpack and the chest cushion is integrated into the back of the backpack.

The device may comprise a pulling hook formed from relatively thin material, a handle for grasping, and a strap connecting the handle to the pulling hook. The handle may be configured as a T-handle. The strap may bear adhesive to discourage the card from sliding along the length of the strap. The device may have a pushing hook opening in a direction opposite that of the pulling hook, such that the card may be inserted between and engage the pushing hook and the pulling hook and be entrapped therebetween. The hook may have sufficient overall length to project outside a pocket into which the card has been stored and in which the card is fully contained.

Abstract: A neck-mounted personal eating apparatus designed to facilitate eating by a person away from a table, is herein disclosed. The apparatus comprises a rectangular tray equipped with a raised lip around the entire perimeter to prevent liquid spills or loss of crumbs. The short side edges of the tray are provided with an adjustable padded neck strap which goes up and around the rear neck area of the user and attaches to the opposite sides of the tray. The neck strap comprises a flexible plastic “U”-shape strap having a plurality of holes to allow for adjustment. The holes connect to molded ball-end appendages located on either side of the tray. In such a manner, the neck strap can be easily resized to suit all size users from large adults to small children. Additionally, the apparatus comprises an angled fixed length strap that connects to the neck strap to help keep the tray level and prevent movement during use.

Abstract: A hands free case for mobile personal computers provides a mobile worker a stable platform for laptops, Tablet PCs, Ultra Mobile PCs and accessories. One embodiment comprises a platform insert (22), fabric shell (24), shoulder harness (28), waist/torso harness(30) and an articulated flap (26). Shoulder harness (28) and waist/torso harness (30) is attached to fabric shell (24) via two or more rings and hooks allowing multiple configurations of straps and computer display orientations. Mobile personal computer is secured to platform insert (22) by impact-resistant cordage. When shoulder harness (28) and waist/torso harness (30) is placed around the body a mobile personal computer is carried without being held. The case can be positioned vertically along the body and tilted to improve viewing by adjusting the length of shoulder harness (28) and waist/torso harness (30). When articulated flap (26) is buckled to top of fabric shell (24) mobile personal computer is enclosed in a protective case.

Abstract: A rifle holder device for supporting a rifle in a position that is easy to grab for taking a shot is described. The holder device lets a hunter or shooting enthusiast carry a rifle with its weight supported on either his right or left hip. Rifles are rather heavy weapons. Should the hunter or shooting enthusiast carry one in his hands or arms for an extended period of time, his muscles can get fatigued. This makes it more difficult to get off an accurate shot in a timely manner. However, the present holder device puts most of the rifle's weight on the hunter's hip, thereby freeing his hands and arms from having to carry the rifle until it's time to take a shoot. Further, the present holder device is adjustable for carrying rifles of many different sizes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a redesigned food tray that is supported by the user's shoulders. The food tray features a two-part tray system that when folded out resembles a circle. The outer tray of the two-part tray system features two cup holders, and rotates about the center of the two-part tray system. When the outer tray is folded up, the cup holders retract. A bib-like cover attaches to the shoulder straps and prevents food and/or beverages to spill on the end user. The inner tray features a lip, which prevents spill from food and/or beverage to reach the user's lap.

Abstract: A backpack for storing and facilitating the use of a laptop computer by a user is disclosed. The backpack includes an enclosure having a front side, a back side, and at least one peripheral edge. The front side includes a laptop compartment flap that is hinged across a horizontal fold line and pivotable between a closed and an open position. The laptop compartment flap also includes a stop means preventing the laptop compartment flap from extending past the open position. With the laptop stored in the laptop compartment of the enclosure, the user may support the backpack in front of the user by the shoulders using shoulder straps, open the laptop compartment flap, remove the laptop and supported the laptop on an inside surface of the laptop compartment flap, with the weight of the laptop being supported by the flap and the stop means.

Abstract: An article carrying device is provided for balancing upon a single shoulder of a person. The device includes front and back extended end members having a plurality of clips provided along middle and distal portions of the ends members. The clips secure packages to the article carrying device such that when packages of equal weights are attached to both ends of the carrying device, the device balances upon the shoulder of the person and does not require human hand intervention to maintain its position. The article carrying device is interchangeable and can be employed on either shoulder of the person. A hinge mechanism can be provided at an apex of the device for permitting the collapse of said device for transport or storage when not is use.

In one device, the securing members have two arms configured to be arranged in an open state for receiving the can with substantially zero insertion force. In that device, the arms have end portions with latching members configured to join together in a first engagement position with the can. In a closed state, the latching members are in a partially overlapping configuration that pulls the arms tightly around the circumference of the can and thereby supplies a compression fit with high pull-apart strength.

The apparatus includes one or more small platforms, a brace, and two fasteners. The brace typically slides behind the belt of the user, inside the pants or skirt. The fasteners attach to the belt. The carrier will typically support the parcel with two hands and the platform(s) of the apparatus. The whole apparatus can be fabricated as a unitary component from sheet metal or molded plastic, although often the top surface platform will be covered with some slip-retarding material, such as rubber or plastic. The apparatus is easy to insert and remove, lightweight, and nearly invisible when worn. The device is particularly useful for parcel delivery carriers.

The transport assembly, tension mechanism and dowel system are interconnected by pulley systems that control the pressure exerted upon the roll of paper towels, thus providing controlled dispensing of the entire roll of paper towels and to retard unraveling. And further adjusting to raise or lower the angle of the paper towel roll.

Abstract: An improved pony bottle bracket that is light weight, compact, simple to use, and facilitates a quick and easy set-up is disclosed. A push button latch enables a diver to quickly disconnect the pony bottle from the main bottle. The pony tank bracket and base unit bracket are mounted by use of a belt and adjustable band straps. The locking mechanism is self-contained, thereby eliminating or minimizing the use of separate components (e.g., no clevis, hitch, cotter or quick release pins) which may be lost. The bracket also eliminates or reduces the use of any items which may entangle the diver or entangle other objects in the diver's surroundings (e.g., no string, cord, chain or lanyards). The bracket is bidirectional (e.g., reversible) such that the top bracket mount may be rotated between about 0 and 180 degrees.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved bow holder. An engagement member is provided to connect the holder with a hunter or a hunter's apparel or equipment. A spacing member extends outwardly and downwardly therefrom to a support member. The support member forms a generally open-topped support structure such as a trough or arms located below a hunter's waist to suspend a bow by supporting a generally taut bow string, thus allowing the bow handle to rest generally at a height near the hunter's free-hanging and naturally resting hand.

Abstract: A one piece device for temporarily holding fly fishing line stripped from a reel and prior to being cast. The device is made from a single piece of continuous metal rod, bent at various locations along the rod to form a holding arm and a base clip. The fishing line is hung in coils from the holding arm. The clip may be attached to clothing, thereby securing the device on or about an angler, so that when a cast is made, the line uncoils from the arm.

Abstract: A field desk apparatus, designed to be worn by a user, is configured with two soft triangular structures having a work platform as a common element. Shoulder straps and support straps form the remaining two elements for each of the soft triangular structures, respectively. The weight of a work piece, supported by the work platform, is distributed to a lateral belt of the field desk apparatus, via the soft triangular structures, to ergonomically balance the weight of the work piece about the user.

Abstract: A laptop computer transport and support system for a mobile environment such as an airplane, bus or train is embodied as a wheeled clamshell style backpack carrying case with a retractable handle. The system is employed by unzipping three case edges and lifting a hinged protective cover thereby exposing a computer. The backpack straps unhook from the cover and secure to a user's seatback or around a user's headrest while strap posts at an opposite backpack strap end extend from the case and prevent strap interference with the user. A foldable or detachable handle permits retractable handle posts to extend on each side of the user and support the system against the seatback instead of the user when the system is used. Optionally, computer peripherals within a compartmentalized base are connected within the base to a docking station port and provide the computer with quick access to the peripherals.

Abstract: The present invention relates to strap assemblies. More specifically, the present invention relates to strap assemblies for supporting one or more devices mountable on an individual or patient, such as a drainage reservoir or other medical devices. Furthermore, the strap assemblies of the present invention are designed to alleviate some of the discomfort in wearing such an assembly. The strap assemblies of the present invention generally comprise a waist strap, a shoulder strap device and one or more front straps.

A pair of straps attached to the lower member wrap around the torso of the user for support. A third strap attached to the upper member is adapted to wrap around the aiming arm of the user. When not in use, the arm rest and support may be folded, allowing the user to move about. When the support is needed, the user simply raises his or her arm, causing the upper member to pivot and lock at an approximate right angle in relation to the lower member, providing the user with support for aiming resulting in greater accuracy and reduced fatigue.
