Abstract: An apparatus and process for causing excess covering material at a workpiece corner to be gathered, folded and secured to a back side of the panel. A corner tucking apparatus includes a gathering plate positioned adjacent a positioning structure, and moves inwardly across the back side of the workpiece, from the corner, to gather and fold the corner flap. The gathering plate has a generally V-shaped notch which causes excess material to be gathered together as the plate moves inwardly. The gathered material upon reaching the apex of the notch is folded downwardly into contact with the back side of the workpiece. A securing structure which is carried inwardly with the gathering plate is then activated to fixedly secure the folded flap to the pad or workpiece.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for closing sheathings, such as cable conduits 23, flexible pipe lines or container elements by means of a closure device 25 provided on a tool 24, wherein closure elements 26 at two oppositely located rim parts of the sheathing can be alternatingly hooked together and unhooked, or separated, when being opened by means of a slider 27 disposed on the tool 24. A further device 29 for securing the connected closure elements 26 or connecting elements, which can be respectively activated independently of the position of the slider 27, is provided on the tool 24 for receiving the slider 27.
Abstract: A framework for a canvas is placed on an anvil that is laterally movable below a nailing head. The canvas is held by a clamp which is movable to stretch the fabric prior to mailing.
Abstract: A high speed, portable, rug binding machine in the form of an electric-powered hand-tool carrying and dispensing a roll of binding tape has floor-engaging canted wheels for directing the frame of the machine into a rug as it is rolled along a rug edge to which a binding is stapled by the machine as the operator pulls a trigger causing a solenoid to drive the stapler by way of a power linkage which automatically adjusts for rug and for binding thickness; the machine has adjustment for varying rug-to-binding holding force, prior to stapling, and rug introduction angle; simplicity of mechanism provides compactness and light weight suitable for one-hand manipulation by the operator under all conditions.
Abstract: An insulation installing implement is manually operable by means of an elongated handle, and is positionable between wall studs or ceiling joists to hold, feed and anchor opposite selvage edges of an insulation blanket against a pair of spaced apart studs or ceiling joists by remote manual control operation of a pair of anchoring devices carried by the frame of the implement.
