Abstract: A charm holder device for attaching charms to a shoe is shown and described. The charm holder device allows a charm to be selectively attached to and detached from the shoe. A charm keeper is attached to the decorative body for attaching charms. In some of the described examples, the charm holder device is placed between the heel of the shoe and a ground-contacting portion of the shoe's sole such that the charm holder and the charm are spaced apart from the ground-contacting portion of the sole in a direction perpendicular to the ground-contacting portion of the sole.
Abstract: A washer (100) comprising wadding material and having an aperture (104) extending therethrough is disclosed. The wadding material is compressed at least around the periphery (102) of the aperture (104). The compressed wadding material is sufficiently elastic such that, when fitted to upholstery together with a tuft, the dimensions of the aperture may increase sufficiently to accommodate a tufting needle and then return to its original dimensions after withdrawal of the needle so as to, prevent disengagement of the tuft.
Abstract: A reversible fastener that can be positioned in one of two alternate display positions without removing the fastener from the underlying garment is provided. The unique configuration of the fastener allows it to be rotatably coupled to a garment in a manner that facilitates the reversibility of the fastener without requiring its removal. The reversible fastener is useful in a variety of applications including garments, jewelry and footwear. Further, one embodiment of the present invention is also useful in providing a structural anchoring assembly.
