Abstract: A three-yard concrete bucket with integral ladder is provided which comprises a series of steps attached by welding to the exterior perimeter of the bucket. When attached, a worker can easily inspect the inside of the bucket, clean the bucket, or enter the interior of the bucket. No external ladders or devices are needed.
Abstract: A bowl-lifting apparatus having a linear actuator to rotate a pivotal Y-shaped bowl lift arm with the bowl-lifting apparatus having self locking members to automatically lock the mixing bowl in the bowl-lifting apparatus to permit a person to move the mixing bowl about. A shock absorber or bowl damper prevents undue oscillation of the mixing bowl as the mixing bowl is emptied. A lever allows the user to quickly tip the mixing bowl and empty the contents of the mixing bowl into another container. A twelve volt battery and a charger mounted on the bowl lifting apparatus provide a mobile power source that can be recharged overnight. A four bar linkage with a sensor switch prevents the bowl-lifting apparatus from lifting a bowl if the bowl is improperly aligned on the lift arms.
Abstract: A truck vehicle carried boom and hopper system for lifting, transporting, and depositing a load of particulate material such as powder, granules or seeds into storage bins in material dispensing aicraft, including a hopper boom framework having spaced apart side bars pivotally mounted on the side bars on the front end of the vehicle mounted support structure. An extensible piston-cylinder hydraulic motor system is utilized to obtain various pivotal positions of the hopper boom. A manual hopper control valve is located in the bottom of the hopper, the hopper is pivotally mounted on a horizontal axis on the extended end of the boom and a safety bar is secured to a mid-portion of the boom to enable a safety block when the boom is in the aircraft loading position. Between the boom pivotal mounting on the truck frame and the truck frame is a trussed frame support construction which enables rigid pivotal support of the boom and hopper.
