Abstract: These inventions provide a method and an apparatus for rolling food dough without causing slipping between the food dough and rolling rollers and without causing twisted shrinkages in the food dough, and disk-shaped food dough manufactured by the method. Further, these inventions relate to the disk-shaped food dough manufactured by the method and the apparatus. The apparatus used for the method is comprised of a cradle that can relatively ascend away from and descend toward a table, and conical-shaped rolling rollers rotatably disposed at the cradle, which rollers can swivel. When the food dough is rolled by means of the rolling rollers by pressing the food dough, the rolling rollers rotate so that the speed of the rotation is higher than that when they are passively rotated by the swiveling motion. When the side plate 3 is moved in the lateral direction in the figure so that the void 3a is located under the hopper 6, the lower end surface 6b of the hopper acts as a leveling plate to feed an adhesive-layer material 8 into the void. The adhesive-layer material is moved to the lower part of the molding box 1, a specified amount of friction material 9 is fed in such a way that its thickness becomes uniform, and the plunger is then used to pressurize and mold the materials.

Abstract: A hot soft nip calender apparatus is provided for a paper mill. The apparatus includes at least one heated calender roller and a finishing belt which is moved in proximity to the heated calender roller by a plurality of drive rollers and at least one pressure roller. Thus, a heated calender nip is defined between the heated calender roller and the finishing belt. A web of paper is passed through the nip, such that one surface of the web of paper is contacted by the heated calender roller, while the opposed surface of the web is contacted by the finishing belt. The finishing belt has an extremely smooth surface for contacting the web of paper so as to impart appropriate smoothness and gloss characteristics to that surface. The finishing belt can readily be changed when worn or damaged or to alter the characteristics being imparted to a web of paper.

Abstract: In the case where an upper punch and a die are made rotatable, a lower punch that is fixed in a conventional example is rotatably supported. Further, a guide mechanism with fixed helical lead for guiding the die is constructed of a guide whose lead is identical to a lead of helical gear contour, and a cam follower that engages with the guide. The guide and the cam follower are arranged so as to correspond to the die and a part with fixed helical lead that is a newly arranged component in the invention. The meshed portion between the helical gear contours of the upper and lower punches and helical gear contours formed on a die or a core rod is free from any excessive force even when a lead-phase shift occurs between helical gears formed on upper and lower punches due to the flexing of the punches during compression.

Abstract: A mold for molding a drum shaped magnetic core having two flanges connected by a coil winding core portion. The mold includes a die defining a cylindrical cavity having an inner diameter substantially equal to an outer diameter of the flanges. A pair of die inserts are movable in an orthogonal direction relative to the cylindrical cavity and define a diameter of the coil winding core portion of the drum shaped magnetic core. The diameter of the coil winding core portion is smaller than the outer diameter of the flanges. An upper punch and a lower punch are inserted into the cylindrical cavity from a corresponding end opening of the mold such that each forms a flange. A central punch is disposed coaxially within one of the punches to form the coil winding core portion.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for manufacturing a fiber product. The method and the process are characterized in that a first male mold (6) is immersed in stock in a molding tank (2a). By means of a vacuum, fibers are induced to form a fiber layer of predetermined thickness on the male mold (6). The male mold (6) is thereafter removed from the molding tank (2a) and a female mold (8) is brought under force against the male mold (6) in order to express the stock water, following which the fiber product (P) is transferred to the female mold (8). A second male mold (10) is brought under force against the female mold (8) so that the fiber is subjected to pressing in order to increase the dry solids content of the fiber product and give this a predetermined external structure, following which the fiber product (P) is released and subjected to final drying under the effect of microwave or IR radiation.
