Abstract: A slide system has a base inflatable structure capable of sustaining an air pressure, and a slide surface supported by the base inflatable structure. A lower slide flap forms a bottom end of the slide surface, and a lower slide support of the base inflatable structure supports the lower slide flap. A bumper body receives air pressure from the base inflatable structure to inflate to form a protrusion that extends upwardly from the lower slide support when inflated. A restraint structure restrains the bumper body to a flattened configuration, but when the restraint structure is released, the bumper body inflates to form the protrusion that forms a bumper at the bottom of the slide.

Abstract: A portable childrens' water slide apparatus having a water slide with an elongate plastic sheet extending horizontally along the ground between entry and exit ends and, a water chamber extending along one edge of the sheet with an inlet and outlet jets for spraying water over the sheet. A delayed return, flow control valve coupled between the chamber and a water hose has a valve actuating member with a horizontal, step-on panel movable between an upper, throttling position and a depressed, unthrottling position when stepped on before entering the slide. A spring biases the panel upwards. A valve body has a flow control member linked to the panel for movement to an unthrottling position by depression by a child stepping thereon, permitting a maximum water flow to the slide during sliding; and a device delays return of the flow control member to the throttling position after stepping off the panel.

A platform is coupled to the housing and movable in opposing first and second directions through the first opening, and in opposing third and fourth directions through the second opening. A doll is coupleable to the platform and rotatable about an axis between first and second positions relative to the platform. The doll is moved from the first position to the second position as the platform is moved in the second direction, and the doll is moved from the second position to the first position as the platform is moved in the third direction.

Abstract: A plant imitating device includes a body having a compartment and an opening in communication with the compartment. A driving unit is mounted in the compartment and includes a transmission member. A plant imitating unit is mounted in the compartment and includes an end facing the opening of the body. The plant imitating unit is engaged with the transmission member by a mounting portion. The plant imitating unit is movable relative to the transmission member. A control unit is electrically connected to the driving unit. The control unit controls the driving unit to cause the end of the plant imitating unit to move beyond the body via the opening. Thus, the end of the plant imitating unit gradually extends beyond the opening to imitate the growth of a plant.

Abstract: A toy construction system includes a plurality of interconnectable building elements; a control system that generates an electromagnetic signal; a vibration speaker including a moveable permanent magnet; and a support building element mechanically linked to the permanent magnet of the vibration speaker. The vibration speaker includes a coil that is moveable relative to the permanent magnet. One or more of the coil and the permanent magnet vibrate in a manner that is based on the electromagnetic signal. The vibration speaker also includes a sound producer that is mechanically linked to the coil to vibrate with the coil as the coil vibrates. The coil vibrates relative to the permanent magnet to produce an audible sound, and the permanent magnet vibrates to cause the support building element to vibrate and animate interconnectable building elements linked to the support building element.

Abstract: A swinging bob toy having three bobs constrained on a string, the middle bob being slideably constrained between the two end bobs, and at least one of the bobs being reversibly separable into two partial bobs. A wide variety of new tricks and maneuvers are made possible by the separability of the bobs. The two partial bobs have roughly the same weight thereby providing balanced orbits. Each of the two partial bobs slides less easily along the string than a non-separated bob. The two partial bobs have roughly the same diameter along at least one axis thereby allowing visual illusions to be performed.

Abstract: A method of actuating a robotic mechanism having a first leg member rotatably coupled to a first side of a chassis and a second leg member rotatably coupled to a second side of the chassis. The method comprises positioning the first leg member and the second leg member generally about 180 degrees with respect to each other and effecting movement of the chassis by rotating both the first leg member and the second leg member with respect to the chassis.

Abstract: A packaging assembly for a reconfigurable toy includes a base component and a side component movably connected to the base component. The toy includes a main body and an extendable member movably connected to the main body. The toy is reconfigurable between a first configuration in which the extendable member is retracted relative to the main body and a second configuration in which the extendable member is extended relative to the main body. The main body of the toy is coupled to the base component and the extendable member of the toy is coupled to the side component, so that the toy is reconfigurable between its first configuration and its second configuration while remaining coupled to the packaging assembly.

A slot is defined through a wall of the tower. A box is received in the tower and a frame is fixed on the top of the box. A shaft extends through the frame and the slot of the tower. A spring is biased between the flange of the shaft and the inside of the end of the frame. The shaft extends through the box and the slot and is connected to an end member. The end member includes an engaging portion which is removably engaged with the slot. The players pull shaft to remove the engaging portion from the slot to move the box to desired floor.

Abstract: A toy vehicle is transformed from a first configuration to a second configuration through relative movement of two portions of the vehicle. The vehicle includes a roof panel which closes a roof area during the transition from the first configuration to the second configuration. The closing of the roof area hides the displacement of a first seat in the vehicle by a second seat. When the first seat is mounted with a first toy figure and the second seat is mounted with a different toy figure, an illusion is created that the initial toy figure has changed appearance. The roof panel may close and reopen at a rate rapid enough to render the change of toy figures to be an instantaneous transformation. Additional deployable components such as projectile launchers, tail fins, and front bumpers may be incorporated into the toy vehicle.

Abstract: A bird toy for stimulating a foraging instinct by surrounding a treat on a platform on a main body with one or more substantially transparent rings rotatable and vertically slidable on the main body. In one or more rotative positions of the ring or rings turned by a pet bird, the ring or rings are allowed to shift vertically to make the treat accessible. An assembly attached to a bucket handle consisting of a pair of hooks attached to a pair of hands connected to a pair of flexible arms allows the assembly to detach from the bucket's handle. A stabilization board keeps the novelty item stable. Motion sensors facing different directions are attached to a voice recorder and a speaker allowing messages to play. A hinge and latches attached to the body allows the invention to condense.

Abstract: A gaming device for enhancing sporting event on television including an assembled unit loaded with a number of pins/flags and a remote control through which the unit receives radio/infrared signals in order to actuate the device. A right arm of the figurine is connected to a stepper motor and can be placed on top of the assembled unit. When the user depresses the button on the remote control the stepper motor makes one revolution and the hand portion of the arm makes contact with the pin/flag and ejects the pin/flag out of the assembled unit in order to signal rule infractions associated with a game. The device simply gives users the satisfaction of calling their own penalties, and or counts the number of actual penalties in the game.

A user manipulates a group of magnets (40) by interacting with one or more of them. For example, the user can repel a group of magnets (40) along the three-dimensional path by pushing only one of the magnets (45) in the group. The magnetic members can have many different shapes, colors, sizes, magnetic strengths, and textures. These devices can be found in the home and in many other settings such as waiting rooms, daycares, classrooms, and hospitals.

Resilient cushions are positioned along the first helical gripping member for a snug fit on bottles of different sizes. The second helical gripping member is positioned above and to a side of the first helical gripping member for positioning the stopper away from the mouth of the bottle.

Abstract: A coil spring toy with the ball-trapping tool attached to one or more ends is disclosed. The coil spring toy may be used with a game apparatus having a toy stairway, and a set of lightweight balls of a specific size. A method to play the game includes mechanically starting the spring toy to move downstairs due to gravity and its known properties. If started properly, a spring toy will capture the balls, located on the stairs, with the trapping tool, while it lands on each stair. Captured balls may be kept inside spring toy while it moves and finally stops. The balls may be transparent and may be filled with particles to produce additional visual and sound effects. Collected balls can be manually released out of spring toy by means of its stretching. After balls are released and counted, and are placed back on the stairs, the action may be repeated.

Abstract: The invention—Ayurvedic Scale—is a machine that physically represents or models the philosophical essence of the ancient science and philosophy of Ayurveda in the form of a tri-armed scale. The Ayurvedic Scale's primary function is to assist users in determining and visually representing their current spiritual state as well as their underlying Ayurvedic body type, which are both helpful in evaluating immediate choices using Ayurvedic philosophy. It also serves to act as a visual model in helping users to more clearly understand the complexities of Ayurveda, to provide a physical reminder of Ayurveda's suggested foci in the user's life, and to act as a decorative model, which reflects the owner's interest in Ayurveda. The invention is meant to embody two of Ayurveda's core foci—simplicity and balance.

The spring-like action of intermediate sides 20 helps to hold the gondola 14 firmly against the balloon 12.

Abstract: The invention relates to a toy comprising an article which is movable along a surface, the movement of the article determined by a control, mounted under the surface. The control and article include magnetic materials to form a magnetic field between the two through the surface and which is sufficiently strong such that movement of the control exerts a moving influence on the article along the surface. The control is provided with articulated joints which allow the control to follow and exert the moving influence on the article as it moves along different planes and levels of the surface, which was not previously possible. The control can also include particular lever arrangements which allow the proportion of the surface area upon which the control can exert the moving influence to be increased.

Abstract: A novel design and method of manufacturing confetti uses an interior cutout type die-cutting process. The resulting die cut confetti has unique and unusual aerodynamic features creating visually pleasing flight patterns. The predominant descent pattern of this new confetti is a hover action. The confetti rocks slightly back and forth during its descent but primary remains parallel to the ground.

A collar is slidingly received upon the stick for selective locking engagement with the cup for securing a balloon thereto. The stick is preferably formed of a composition of polyester and rubber such that the stick is capable of being manually formed into any desired configuration and which retains that configuration once so formed.

Cubes may be positioned on tower dowels extending vertically from a base block, and the position of a cube may be stabilized by a rubber band around the tower dowels just below the cube. A channel in each cube (except the "end cubes") permits a marble to pass through the cube. A channel may be bifurcated, and may have entrances/exits to any combination of the six faces of a cube. Track dowels may be inserted in track bores below each side channel entrance/exit to permit the marble to roll out of the channel and onto the track dowels.

The interactive funnel amusement device allows a user to interact with the interactive funnel amusement device to a greater extent than prior art funnel devices. In one embodiment, the interactive funnel amusement device includes a funnel and a target. The target is located on an interior surface of the funnel such that when an object is rolled along the interior surface of the funnel the object is capable of interacting with the target. The interactive funnel amusement device can also include an adjustable guide. The adjustable guide is capable of guiding the object along one of a number of trajectories along the funnel such that the object rolls around the interior surface of the funnel in a substantially spiral manner. The adjustable guide can also be used to aim the object along a trajectory that causes the object to interact with the target located on the interior surface of the funnel.

The sliding collar is free to slide along the elongated member thereby causing the resilient ribs to move radially outwardly with respect to the longitudinal axis of the elongated central member.

Abstract: An assembly is provided that includes a beverage container having a handle extending radially from the container in a direction that defines a handle axis. The assembly further includes a handle grip piece for connection to the handle of the container, and a support bar attached to the handle grip piece. A rotatable object is coupled to the support bar and defines an axis of rotation located in a plane extending at an angle from the handle axis such that the axis of rotation does not intersect the container.

Abstract: A toy element composed of a rolling body having a body surface, with at least four apertures provided in the body surface, and at least two movable members. Each of the members consists of a first and a second oppositely arranged element interconnected by a rigid rod. The first and second elements are aligned with the apertures of the body surface. Each of the members is movable within the rolling body between a first position where the first element is significantly protruding from the rolling body surface while the second element is less protruding from the rolling body surface, and a second position where the second element is substantially protruding from the rolling body surface while the first element is less protruding from the rolling body surface. Each member has a center line, and the center lines of all of the members intersect at a common intersection point.

Abstract: A flying toy having a first and a second guideline support, each guideline having two ends and a handle member respectively secured at each end. A body member for operating aerodynamically may include a frame and sail, or alternatively, the frame and sail may be replaced by a one-piece or composite sail frameless structure. In an alternative embodiment, a single guideline replaces the two guidelines. Support elements are slideably secured to the body member and to the fasteners for supporting the body in a desired orientation between the first and second guidelines. Alternatively, the support elements may be included as a part of the frame of the body member or some embodiments eliminated.
