Abstract: A soil treatment device that reconditions topsoil by removing an amount of topsoil, treating the topsoil, placing bacteria and small organisms within the topsoil, and then returning the topsoil to the ground surface. The device removes the topsoil from a ground surface by a front-mounted set of cutter blades that remove topsoil down to a specific depth and places it on a conveyer belt. The belt then transports the topsoil into the device, where it is irradiated; seeded with bacteria, microorganisms, and seedlings; and then discharged back onto the ground surface.
Abstract: A method and a system for soil disinfection and aeration by generating shock waves and a flow of detonation products on soil particles. The system includes a combustion chamber having an input port for supplying a predetermined air-fuel mixture to the combustion chamber. An igniter for igniting the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. Means for shifting soil particles into an internal space where shock waves propagate. Rotovator which has rotary blades crumbles soil and shifts soil particles into the internal space of the rotovator. A flame arrester is attached between an air-fuel supply line and the input port. An outlet nozzle increases pressure of the detonation wave and thereby increases the pressure of shock waves and the velocity of detonation products A reflecting plate operates to reflect shock waves after the shock waves pass the soil particles Soil particles receive an additional impact during collision with the reflector plate.
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a process for decomposing vegetable waste materials easily, which solves problems such as the problem of treatment costs, the problem of energy, an environmental problem and the problem of time for treatment which are difficult to be solved by prior art. The present invention provides an agent for decomposing plant fibrous materials, which contains plant fibrous materials decomposing enzymes derived from a microorganism, but not the microorganism. In addition, the present invention provides a process for treating vegetable waste materials comprising allowing the agent for decomposing plant fibrous materials to act on vegetable waste materials.
Abstract: Environmentally friendly processes for prevention of qualitative deterioration and quantitative loss of plant matter and foodstuffs, during all stages of storage and handling, including pre- and post-harvest, pre- and post-planting, distribution and marketing involves the use of H2O2 compositions including Ag and at least one of Cu and Zn ions. The processes can also be used to prevent sprouting and rooting, and to promote fecundity of certain plant matter, and can also be used to eliminate or reduce quantities of harmful organisms and substances from soil, other growth media and substrates, equipment, materials water, workspaces and surfaces.
