Patent number: 11980361Abstract: The present disclosure provides a closure driving mechanism and a medical stapler including the same. The closure driving mechanism includes a driving part and a cylinder body, the driving part is connected with a closure pulling sheet of the stapler, and a cavity provided with a one-way valve is formed inside the cylinder body. When the driving part moves toward a distal side of the stapler, a volume of the cavity is decreased, the one-way valve is closed, and the driving part drives the closure pulling sheet to move distally, so as to open a head assembly of the stapler. Since the driving part is subjected to a resistance of compressed air in the cavity, a movement speed of the driving part is decreased, and the head assembly is opened slowly to prevent a force of opening the head assembly being too large to damage surrounding tissues.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2020Date of Patent: May 14, 2024Assignee: Touchstone International Medical Science Co., Ltd.Inventors: Teng Shan, Yuanyang Cao

Patent number: 6990888Abstract: A mechanism is provided for use with a hydraulic control mechanism of a hydraulic tool. The hydraulic control mechanism is attached to the hydraulic tool to provide a desired hydraulically powered function. The mechanism allows the hydraulic control mechanism to be used with either a constant volume hydraulic system or a constant pressure hydraulic system. The mechanism provides a valve chamber and a valve member positioned within the valve chamber. The valve chamber communicates with both a central passageway and a cross passageway of the hydraulic control mechanism. The valve chamber defines a valve seat proximate to one of the central and cross passageways. The valve member is displaceable within the valve chamber and is configured such that, depending on the position of the valve member within the valve chamber, the hydraulic control mechanism can be used with either a constant volume hydraulic system or a constant pressure hydraulic system.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2003Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: Greenlee Textron Inc.Inventors: Julie Harwath, Orville Diekmann

Patent number: 6679340Abstract: In the hydraulic tool, a main body section includes a cylinder and a piston. A head section is attached to the cylinder, includes a movable part. The piston is capable of rotating about the cylinder with the movable part. A control section is provided to the cylinder and includes oil paths and a switching valve. A piston valve reciprocally moves to control communication between a first and a second cylinder chambers. A concave is provided in a bottom face of the cylinder, escapes an end of the piston valve from a position at which the end of the piston valve contacts a bottom face, and shuts off the communication between the chambers. A projection is provided at a position different from the concave, makes the end of the piston valve contact the bottom face and allows the communication between the chambers.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2002Date of Patent: January 20, 2004Assignee: Izumi Products CompanyInventor: Tadashi Tatai

Patent number: 6490962Abstract: A hydraulic tool is operable in an open center (OC) and a closed center (CC) mode and includes a cylinder and a piston within the cylinder. The piston defines a drive chamber and a retract chamber. A valve spool selectively supplies and exhausts hydraulic fluid to and from the drive chamber and the retract chamber. An oil tube is coupled to the valve spool and extends through the piston and is in communication with the retract chamber. The oil tube includes at least one hole that can selectively communicate the drive chamber and the retract chamber. A selector sleeve is provided for switching between the OC and CC modes. In the OC mode when the tool is in the neutral mode, the valve spool is configured to supply the hydraulic fluid through the oil tube to the retract chamber such that movement of the piston can allow communication between the retract chamber and the drive chamber through the at least one hole in the oil tube.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2001Date of Patent: December 10, 2002Assignee: The Stanley WorksInventor: Theodore J. Patent number: 6192781Abstract: An assembly for reversing a fluid driven motor. The assembly includes a fluid driven motor, and a reversing valve that reverses inlet and exhaust porting to and from the fluid driven motor. An actuation device opens an actuation valve and a fluid supply valve. The actuation valve causes the reversing valve to reverse the inlet and exhaust porting to and from the fluid driven motor when the actuation device opens the actuation valve. The fluid supply valve allows fluid to flow through the fluid supply valve to the motor when the actuation device opens the fluid supply valve. The fluid supply valve also prevents fluid flow through the fluid supply valve to the fluid driven motor when the fluid supply valve is closed.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 1998Date of Patent: February 27, 2001Assignee: Cooper Technologies CompanyInventors: Bruce A. Patent number: 5613419Abstract: A load balancing arm is shown and described as having improved control including a programmable control element and electronic air regulation to provide precise and controllable lifting force on a load. The disclosed load balancing arm responds to slight operator applied force to aid in movement of the load in overcoming system hysteresis, friction and load inertia without requiring the operator to apply a sufficiently large magnitude force to overcome such counteracting forces in the system. The disclosed load balancing arm further includes automatic load weight detection sensors for accommodating variation in load weights while applying a lifting force to the load which substantially equals the weight of the load. This allows the operator to move the load freely throughout a work space.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1995Date of Patent: March 25, 1997Assignee: Integrated Systems, Inc.Inventors: Cary M. Patent number: 5522302Abstract: A multi-piston assembly is illustrated wherein a cylindrical housing (A) is ported through longitudinal circumferentially spaced ports (F) and (G) carried within the cylindrical housing. Porting through piston rods is thus avoided so that their cross section may be reduced thereby increasing the area of the pistons available for contact by pressurized fluid. Even greater force may be made available for actuating a tool by the addition of an add-on unit utilizing complementary longitudinal porting.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 1994Date of Patent: June 4, 1996Assignee: Compact Air Products, Inc.Inventors: Lawrence F. Patent number: 5105622Abstract: A hydraulic cylinder has a piston in it with a rod projecting out of the cylinder and connectable with a tool which is operable by movement of the piston rod. A high pressure space is defined in the cylinder at one side of the piston and a low pressure space is defined at the other side of the piston. A partition defines the other end of the low pressure space. A diaphragm on the other side of the partition defines an equalizing space between the diaphragm and the partition. A low pressure line is in communication with the low pressure space and with the equalizing space. A change over valve in the lines to both the high pressure space and the low pressure space enables connection of high pressure from a pump either to one space or to the other space in the cylinder while always permitting communication from the low pressure line to the equalizing space, the connection to the equalizing space is in the low pressure line between the change over valve and a non-return valve at the pump.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 1990Date of Patent: April 21, 1992Assignee: FAG KugelfischerInventor: Dietmar Lindner

Patent number: 4462579Abstract: A tilting table for machining works is of the worm and worm wheel type incorporating a hydraulic servomechanism. A displacement of a stylus operating lever effected by the drive worm shaft moves the servocontrol valve out of its neutral position, thereby causing a tilting motion of the table in a desired direction via a hydraulic power unit of the mechanism. Due to a linkage connection between the table and the lever, the movement of the table always follows the lever so as to compensate the initial displacement, resulting in light and accurate positioning of the inclined table.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 1982Date of Patent: July 31, 1984Assignee: Tsudakoma Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Eishin Satake
