Abstract: This invention relates to a ravioli making machine. In particular, it relates to an improved method of feeding filler material to a dough lined cavity. The novel feeder tube of this invention is adapted to be utilized with the ravioli machine which has been marketed in the past.
Abstract: This invention is directed to the preparation of Iron-cobalt powders by reacting iron tricobalt hydrido dodecacarbonyl with iron pentacarbonyl and pyrolyzing the resulting metal-organic iron cobalt clusters.
Abstract: Iron pentacarbonyl is removed from sludge containing iron particles by treating with surfactants followed by oxidation with hydrochlorite ion.
Abstract: An end cap for a container is generally dish shaped and is for fitting within a tubular container to be fixed in position at one end thereof or for sliding movement within the container as the container is emptied. The end cap includes a peripheral portion 129 which is capable of limited movement relative to the main portion of the end cap so as to allow movement of the end cap in one direction within the container but to cause locking of the end cap against the wall of the container when the end cap is caused to move in the opposite direction.
Abstract: This invention relates to a substitute for mineral oil in toiletry and cosmetics. In particular it relates to blends of esters which match the viscosity and feel of mineral oil. Specifically, it relates to ester blends which include tridecyl trimellitate.Tridecyl trimellitate ("TDTM") is the ester of tridecyl alcohol and trimellitic acid, and has recently been offered for use to the cosmetics industry. It has surprisingly been found that by blending tridecyl trimellitate with other esters, the viscosity and feel of mineral oil can be matched, the resulting product being a substitute for mineral oil in toiletry and cosmetic compositions.

Abstract: A polymer composition comprising a blend of NBR elastomer with EPDM grafted with acrylonitrile or acrylonitrile copolymer, imparts oil and ozone resistance to the blend.
Abstract: A microbicide having the general formula ##STR1## wherein R is a halomethyl radical, or a methylene radical; W is cyclohexyl, phenyl or meta or para substituted phenyl wherein the substituents are C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, halogen or nitro; X and Y is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, halogen or nitro; provided that when R is halomethyl n is 1 and when R is methylene n is 0.
Abstract: Lubricating oils are stabilized against oxidative degradation by the use of a stabilizer comprising (A) an amine wherein the amine is a substituted benzylamine, or a substituted 1-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene, (B) a metal deacturator and (C) a metal or metal salt. Optionally a metal deactivator can be incorporated into the system. The preferred substitute benzylamine is N(alpha-methyl benzyl)amine the preferred naphthalamine is phenyl-alpha-naphthalamine.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a copolymer for high refractive lens having a refractive index equal to or higher than 1.55, obtained by copolymerization of one or more of the first monomer component having the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 signifies hydrogen atom or methyl radical, R.sub.2 signifies hydrogen atom or methyl radical, and m and n signify integers 0 to 4 in total, with one or more of the radically polymerizable second monomer component, homo-polymer of which has a refractive index equal to or higher than 1.55 and, if necessary, with the radically polymerizable third monomer component, the homo-polymer of which has a refractive index lower than 1.55 and to the lens prepared from said copolymer.
Abstract: A method of oxidizing alpha-alkylated, benzyl-substituted 2-thiopyridine 1-oxides by admixing the compound to be oxidized, a solvent for said compound, acetonitrile, hydrogen peroxide and a base.
Abstract: High impact strength gum plastics are prepared by blending a styrene acrylonitrile resin with a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer which has grafted on to it an acrylonitrile resin; preferably styrene acrylonitrile.
