    Abstract: A machine for wrapping cylindrical bales comprises an open-fronted wheeled frame for attachment to a towing vehicle, a roller extending transversely of the rear of the frame, and a pair of semi-rollers mounted at or adjacent the forward free end of each side member of the frame to be pivotal between an inoperative position extending fore and aft of the frame and an operative position extending transversely across the open front of the frame, in which position a bale within the frame is rotatably supported by the rear roller and the front semi-rollers. During this rotation of the bale, the bale is wrapped in stretchable film material by a wrapping mechanism on the machine, on completion of which wrapping the semi-rollers are raised relative to the frame to tip the wrapped bale rearwardly of the machine over the rear roller and onto the ground.

    Abstract: A fuel pumping apparatus of the rotary distributor type is provided with a spill control muff on the distributor member and which controls flow of fuel from a bore containing the pumping plungers to a chamber. Slidable in the chamber is a spring loaded piston formed with a valve element which controls flow of fuel from the bore into the chamber through a spill passage. With the spill passage closed by the valve element deliver of fuel through an outlet takes place until fuel is admitted to the chamber under the control of the spill muff. The admission of fuel causing the piston to move the valve element to allow fuel into the spill passage through the spill passage.

The units have slightly different electrical characteristics so that when each of these units is caused to play the same tape at identical parameter values, the video output signals will differ from unit to unit. The referene tape is played in one of the units having parameter values preset for use with this tape, thereby producing a video output signal containing all parameters. The output signal is played together with the reference signal, the reference signal containing the same parameters but with different values. An offset signal is applied to the input of said one unit.
