    Abstract: This implement attaches to the hydraulic system of a front-end loader for a tractor or similar vehicle. It has two planar surfaces, a deck and a back, that are fastened together at an approximately 90 degree angle. The deck is constructed primarily of wooden or synthetic boards or sheets, supported below or above by two or more steel angle irons or channel irons bolted to the boards or sheets. The back consists of a similar combination of boards or sheets, irons, and bolts, with a grill or strips possibly replacing some boards or sheets in the upper part. Each deck support is fastened to a back support using one or two steel braces or gussets, bolted or welded to the supports. Two steel yokes are fastened to the back, suitable for attaching the carrier to the front-end loader hydraulics. The carrier can be lifted and tilted by the front-end loader system, just as the system would do with its normal bucket attachment.

    Abstract: A hand-held glow writing apparatus constructed for use with an ultraviolet sensitive surface to produce images that glow in the dark and will fade over a time period. The device including a plurality of LED lights arrange in a parallel line. The device includes a selector switch for electively choosing an image pattern stored on a memory. The LED lights when activated, turn on and off in accordance with a predetermined sequence timed for a movement of the writing apparatus across ultraviolet sensitive surface whereby the selected image pattern will imprint an image on the ultraviolet sensitive surface that fades over the time period.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for enhancing images in consideration of region characteristics. An inverse gamma correction unit releases gamma correction and linearizes each of Red (R), Green (G), and Blue (B) colors. A threshold calculation unit calculates m-1 thresholds in order to divide the brightness of pixels into m regions, and labels each of the pixels as one of the m brightness regions. A block segmentation unit divides an input image into M×N blocks. A block statistics calculation unit determines one of the m brightness regions to which each of the blocks pertains, and labels the block as the corresponding brightness region. A block-based Look-Up Table (LUT) generation unit generates enhancement LUTs for the respective blocks. An image enhancement unit corrects the image using the LUTs for the respective blocks. A gamma correction unit performs gamma correction.
