Abstract: A multi-functional completion tool which may be lowered into a wellbore coupled to a length of tubing, and then utilized to test various lengths of the tubing at pressure. The tool may also function as a positive plug and may also be used to set the packer, and is also useable as a tubing self-filling tool. Various retention elements are disposed within the tool and configured to release at predetermined pressures, or within predetermined ranges of pressure, thereby transforming the tool from a first configuration to a second configuration depending on the desired function. The tool may also contain a pressure-regulating assembly for regulating the differential pressure across the assembly. The tool may also include an indicator assembly for confirming that the tool has entered a plugging configuration, typically by altering a pressure within the tubing, such alteration being detectible at a surface location.

Abstract: A device for at least partially enclosing a desired length of cable. The device includes at least one member for operatively connecting to a substrate. A conduit located between the member and the substrate provides a passage for one or more cables. Fasteners may be used to secure the device to the substrate and one or more clasps may be located within the conduit for securing the cable in a desired position. Portals may be utilized for the passage of cables into or out of the conduit and adjoining lengths of device may be connected such that their conduits are continuous. The device may be used in place of traditional moldings and provides a safer and more aesthetically appealing alternative for the routing of cables, hoses, tubes, and similar objects. The device may also be configured to form a picture frame, light bar, art niche, or other structures, and may provide light to objects disposed therein.
Abstract: Variations of a tow coupling system are disclosed. In one variation, a coupler guide having at least one side panel configured to guide a coupler to a desired position with respect to a ball of a tow vehicle, also includes a top panel, rear panel, or intermediate panel. In one variation, the tow coupling system includes a coupler guide having at least one side panel which is configured such that a bottom side thereof will be positioned above an operatively connected ball. In one variation, the tow system includes an apparatus for operatively connecting a coupler to a ball of a tow vehicle, including a rod which is operatively connected to both the coupler and a vertical adjustment device which acts upon the rod to raise and lower the coupler. A tow coupling kit including both a coupler guide and an apparatus for connecting to a ball of a tow vehicle is also disclosed, as is a method of manufacturing a tow coupling system.
Abstract: A method for servicing a component of a riser system, such as a flexible joint is disclosed. The riser system may be supported in a support apparatus such that the flexible joint and an adjoining section of riser are detached to allow for inspection, servicing, repair, and/or replacement of the flexible joint or various subcomponents thereof. An apparatus is also disclosed for supporting the flexible joint during servicing.
