Abstract: A ceramic composition is provided to protect glassware from corrosion in a dishwasher. The ceramic composition contains at least one compound which releases an active agent during washing and/or rinsing cycles of a dishwasher to protect glassware from corrosion.
Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising: a positive electrode plate including an outer jacket comprising a sheet-shaped positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on an inner surface of the outer jacket except for a peripheral portion thereof; a negative electrode plate including an outer jacket comprising a sheet-shaped negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on an inner surface of the outer jacket except for a peripheral portion thereof; a separator layer comprising a polymer electrolyte interposed between the positive electrode active material layer and the negative electrode active material layer, wherein the peripheral portion of the positive electrode current collector and the peripheral portion of the negative electrode current collector are bonded together, with an insulating material interposed therebetween.

Abstract: An optical laminate comprising, laminated in the order mentioned, a support substrate, adhesive layer, cholesteric liquid crystal layer and protection layer, characterized in that the cholesteric liquid crystal layer has in at least part thereof an area indicating a diffraction power. The optical laminate is used for a polarization diffraction element, liquid crystal display device compensation element, decorative member, and forgery prevention element.
Abstract: A conventional electrochromic mirror comprises an ion conductive layer provided between a transparent electrically conductive substrate and a reflective electrically conductive substrate and containing spacers. The spacers can be perceived when the mirror was viewed. According to the present invention, the difference in refraction index between the spacers and the ion conductive layer is ±0.03 or less. Therefore, the electrochromic mirror having spacers in the ion conductive layer which are hardly perceived can be provided.
Abstract: The present invention is a generally parallelepiped shaped container including generally parallel opposite lateral side panels, generally parallel opposite longitudinal side panels and a generally flat bottom panel. A first generally flat top panel is provided near the first lateral side panel and a second generally flat top panel is provided near the second lateral side panel, the first and second top panels being interconnected to form a generally continuous top portion of the container. A dispensing neck extends upwardly from the first top panel and a cover member is removably positioned over the open end of the dispensing neck. The shape of the container and the cover member are such that the height of the cover member, when on the dispensing neck is less than the height of the second top panel so that the containers may be stacked one above the other without applying pressure to either the cover member or the dispensing neck.
Abstract: The anchor device includes a ring mounted to a first end of a rod or tube for receiving the end of a safety rope, a mounting for securing the anchor device to a building element, and a locking nut for engaging a threaded portion of the rod or tube at a second end of the rod or tube, where the locking nut includes a non-threaded sleeve which extends around a portion of the rod or tube and which deforms when a load applied to the ring exceeds a predetermined value.
