  • Patent number: 4885867
Abstract: There is disclosed an improved fishing lure which is formed by a simulated frog-like body, the body including an anchoring point for a fishing line at the forward end thereof, and a novel tail structure located at the opposed end of the body, the tail structure consissting of a pliable and flexible coiled structured formed of a material having a memory thereby permitting the coiled structure to achieve a bellows action during the lure manipulation causing a circular vibrational motion of the water as the lure travels through the water for the purpose of attracting fish. The tail structure is formed of a material which normally biasingly urges the tail into a tightened bellows configuration when not in use, and uncoils in a bellows fashion and creates a circular vibratory motion during use, the tail material having a self memory thereby to biasingly urge the tail back into its tightened bellows configuration.

  • Patent number: 4862639
Abstract: A serving window for installation in drive-through facilities such as fast food restaurants is disclosed. The window unit comprises two window members carried by rotatable shafts and set in a support frame, preferably of stainless steel, with an operating mechanism mounted within the sill of the support frame and operable electrically or manually by applying pressure to a bump bar mounted on the inside of the window frame or to a foot pedal linked to the operating mechanism by a hidden cable. The operating mechanism consists of a pivotal crossbar mounted horizontally on the support frame and secured on each end to an "L" shaped crank arm arrangement connected to a corresponding window shaft. When the mechanism is activated, the crossbar oscillates within the limited confines of the window frame and effects full opening of the windows in synchronism upon slight pressure applied to the bump bar or one of the other means of operation. Release of pressure on the bump bar automatically closes the windows.

  • Patent number: 4839106
Abstract: There is disclosed a portable fan device including atomizing means associated therewith, particularly adapted for cooling sunbathers. The device is formed by a base which is adapted to contain a source of fluid, an intermediate neck portion extending upwardly from the base and terminating in a head portion, the head portion carrying a fan and atomizing means associated therewith. The portable electrical means, such as a battery pack, are carried in the base, and electrically wired to the fan with a switch interposed in said circuit in order to permit the fan to be actuated to blow air. The atomizing means is positioned in the head portion immediately below the fan means and may be manually manipulated in order to create a mist which blows out immediately in the path of the fan. The subject fan device permits the user to actuate the fan and the atomizing means at any given time in order to create a misting cooling effect, especially in the environment of sunbathing.

  • Patent number: 4821539
Abstract: An improved keeper lock for a zipper-type slide fastener. The lock includes a barrel assembly of a tubular barrel and an anvil fixed to and projecting readily from the barrel, the anvil adapted to receive the slide fastener when the fastener is moved to its closed position. A key operated lock assembly is telescopically and rotatably received in the barrel for limited axial sliding movement. A keeper arm is fixed to and projects radially from the lock assembly adjacent to a proximal end of it and the lock assembly and keeper arm are capable of both angular rotation and axial movement so that it may assume a fully telescoped locked position with the keeper arm closely overlying the anvil for confining the slide fastener between the keeper arm and the anvil. It may also assume an unlocked position wherein the keeper arm overlies the anvil and is spaced apart therefrom.
