Abstract: The connection between a surface terminus for subsea production risers and a surface collection vessel is facilitated by a connection which utilizes slack loop flexible jumper hoses between the surface terminus of the subsea risers and a swivel coupling located on the surface vessel.

Abstract: A system for protecting sections of pipe or tubing from corrosion includes depositing a continuous, low-porosity, non-corrosive, metallized layer within the end portions of a section of pipe or tubing and on its end walls.

Abstract: A control cable and conduit assembly mounting system includes a pair of integrally formed, arcuate, spaced-apart, flexible flanges which substantially encircle a hollow handlebar or frame member. Also included is a post contained between the flanges which extends through a hole formed in the wall of the tubular handlebar or frame member. The post provides axial and rotational position stability and resists displacing forces caused by movement of the control cable or other forces tending to move the control cable along or rotate the conduit around the handlebar or frame member. The flexible flanges maintain the control cable and conduit assembly in a position proximate to the handlebar or frame member. The elimination of the use of screws or fasteners allows for the cable center line to be parallel with the center line of the handlebar or frame member.

Abstract: A non-metallic pipe collar is provided which encircles the external surface of a pipe. The pipe collar may be provided in several segments or single collar with a hinged portion which allows the collar to be spread open and placed around a pipe.In an alternate embodiment shims having a tapered outer surface are placed against the outer surface of the pipe before the pipe collar is placed around the pipe. The pipe collar has a tapered inner surface thus causing an interference fit between the shims and the pipe collar.
