  • Patent number: 5297990
Abstract: A filter-ventilator-arrangement for employment with clean chambers with at least one ventilator of which the pressure side is located toward an air flow chamber which is limited by boundary walls including a flow chamber formed by at least one annular channel of which one of two boundary walls at least consists of a noise-damping material. Furthermore at least an outer boundary wall consists of noise-damping material. The arrangement includes modular units having several annular channels of which the boundary walls decrease in height from the outside to the inside. Each unit has at least one filter which is arranged in a region below the flow chamber. Innermost boundary walls with inner sides thereof adjoin a plate consisting of noise-damping material. The boundary walls are secured, hanging or suspended on the cover sealing part. At least one heat exchanger lies in a suction region of the ventilator via which the return air flows.

  • Patent number: 5263611
Abstract: A receptacle particularly for a dispenser with a dispenser housing, pump and operating element for receiving a storage supply container having at least one part which is movable into a position making free and accessible an insert opening of the receptacle for installation of a supply storage container which is formed by a flexible bag or pouch-type packing. Two parts moveable as to each other are provided which are separable from each other and which are constructed identically. Those parts have a recess for holding the packing which is provided with a neck. An annular collar is provided for the neck subject to being engaged therebelow by an edge of the recess of the parts. The neck of the packing has an external thread thereon. The two parts are sealingly connectable with each other. The packing also can be provided with a flexible neck provided at a free end thereof with a holder.

  • Patent number: 5230265
Abstract: During machining of workpieces, particularly crankshafts, in a central ren of the workpiece, both tips at opposite unmachined ends are axially retracted from the workpiece; both machined ends of the workpiece are clamped centered with the radial clamping members. During the machining of one workpiece end, the workpiece is clamped equalized at the oppositely located end and during the machining of the central region is clamped centered at this end. A workpiece after end machining and before machining of the central region is relieved for elimination of existing axial tensile-strength pressure stresses. Before the machining of the central region there is applied an axial tensile-strength stress upon the workpiece. Apparatus for carrying-out the method includes two oppositely located main spindles and chucks, which have radially and axially adjustable clamping elements and having two oppositely located centering tips, which are adjustable axially relative to the clamping elements respectively the chucks.

  • Patent number: 5064432
Abstract: A mechanical artificial heart valve is provided and consists of an annular shaped orifice, to which a single (or multiple) bicurved leaflet(s) is (are) hinged. The curves are planar and are generated from two intersecting circular arcs. The valve is constructed to cause a predominately accelerating flow through the orifice. This significantly reduces the flow separation from the leaflets. In addition, the leaflets are shaped so as to reduce the closing reflux volume through the orifice during the regurgitation phase of flow. These improvements tend to significantly decrease the work load on the heart.
