  • Patent number: 8164901
Abstract: An efficient method of heat removal from rack mounted computer equipment, network gear and other electronic equipment, consisting of solid heat conducting components in direct contact with the heat generating sources. In particular, this invention is primarily focused on the ability to efficiently and effectively cool computer equipment in standard computer rack cabinets. This invention utilizes a design that retains the general existing form factor of the rack mounted computer equipment, but uses direct contact heat transfer to a metal heat transfer conduit (Copper, Aluminum or other metal or efficient heat conducting material) contained within the computer equipment chassis. Furthermore, it is thermally coupled to an external rack mounted solid-to-fluid heat exchanger as an efficient method of heat transfer and removal. This is much more efficient than air as heat transfer medium which it the common method of heat removal from existing standardized rack mounted computer equipment.

  • Patent number: 7734527
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a consumer communicates a request for purchase of goods and services to a merchant, the goods and/or services being selected from these listed together with their price quotes on the merchant's computer or website connected to a network, such as the Internet. The merchant then communicates a request for a token and an update key to the clearing server, the token being previously purchased by the consumer and residing on a clearing server device. The update key is used as an authorization to modify the value of the token, i.e., to decrement and to increment. The merchant forwards the purchased merchandise to the consumer. When consumer discontinues making purchases at the selected merchant, the merchant returns the updated token to the clearing server. A new key is necessary to make the next purchase. This is the case even where the requesting merchant is the same as that from whom the last purchase was made.

  • Patent number: 7639928
Abstract: A portable air heating system for use in all areas is disclosed. The portable air heating system provides a stream heated air for use in heating the interior of a structure, in 360°, multidirection, or a direction. Directional heating is accomplished through exhausts ports located all around the assembly. The heating system generally comprises an air transfer assembly for providing a flow of air through the system, an electrical heat emitting assembly, and a heat transfer housing for safely transferring the heat produced by the electrical heating assembly to the air flowing through the transfer assembly. Additionally, liquid filled bladders may be added to the heat emitting assembly to conserve and retain heat longer which will be said unit more energy efficient. The present heating system is also highly portable and simple to use, thereby providing an efficient mechanism for providing perform conditioning functions, such as air moving, heating, or cooling.

  • Patent number: 7300276
Abstract: A safety control switch comprises a slide base movably mounted on the housing of a gas-fired ignition device, a push button positioned in a through hole of the slide base, a brake block fixed to the push button for inserting into a space between the slide base and the housing, and a locking piece movably mounted on the slide base and engaged with the through hole of the slide base, the locking piece being moved relative to the slide base between a first position to prevent the push button and the slide base from being operated by blocking the through hole and a second position to allow the push button and the slide base to be operated by removing the blockage of the through hole.
