Abstract: A personalized message apparatus comprises a plate which has a cellular structure for providing fastening connector halves or holes. Integral with and covering the cellular structure is a surface which can be punched out in selected cells. The indicia comprises letters, numbers, fractions of letters or numbers, or other configurations or designs, each of which includes mating fastening connectors which fit through the punched surface into the holes. The indicia are placed over the surface and the connectors are pressed or snapped into the mating holes of the cellular structure. The plate, even without individual letters, numbers, fractions of these or the like, can be used for indicia by merely punching out or opening up holes in the proper arrangement to give the configuration of letters, figures, or any other shape or form.

Abstract: A pulse plating system wherein the duty cycle is controlled by skipping pulses in producing the output signal. The circuitry for controlling the skipping of the pulses can either be analog or digital type circuitry.

Abstract: A chain-and-anchor system stabilizes a standard ladder being used on penetrable or impenetrable surfaces. A chain, secured at either end to one of the ladder rails is held taut by an anchor; at the same time, anti-slip devices prevent ladder from shifting. For use on penetrable surfaces, the anchor and anti-slip devices are penetrating spikes, while for impenetrable surfaces, a weight box is used as an anchor, while anti-skid material fastened to the ladder rail ends serves as anti-slip devices.

Abstract: In a water treatment system, an electrolysis unit breaks water into its constituent gases of oxygen and hydrogen. Baffles capture and temporarily hold the resulting gas to prolong periods of aeration in the oxygen. Various vertical arrangements of baffles capture the gas escaping from the next lower baffles in a manner which assists in displacing slow moving water while resisting premature loss of oxygen to fast moving water.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing pre-inked stamps in which a compact cabinet containing a cold press and a hot plate with means for insuring the safe usage of both the cold press and hot plate is used. Porous thermoplastic material is compressed without heat against a die; thereafter, heat is applied to the porous material, causing it to shrink and retain a memory of the die impressions.

Abstract: An improved paint container carrier for holding a container of paint having a contoured shape to conform to the contour of the user's body. The container further as a pivotally mounted lid for preventing spills and contamination of paint and straps for securing the device to the user's body. An adapter sleeve is provided so that the paint container carrier may receive various sizes of paint containers.

Abstract: Delivery tubes used with air caloric stimulation systems, when measuring vestibular responses. The delivery tubes fit into the patient's ears at the nozzle end thereof. Silastic tubing is provided narrower at the nozzle end for forming a higher velocity narrower stream of air directed at the tympanic membrane to produce more effective and consistent heat exchange with the labyrinth. A shield is provided to prevent the tubing from impinging on the tympanic membrane and to retain the apparatus in place. A handle is also provided to aid in the insertion of the delivery tube into the air canal, and to aid in attaching the delivery nozzle of the delivery head regularly used with the air caloric stimulation system.

A plurality of mirrors are vertically disposed about a flat surface, and a combined cue ball direction and location magnetized simulation device is positionable on and viewable from anywhere on the flat surface. By observing the reflections of the simulation device in the mirrors from the desired pocket or position, a pool player is able to determine the proper direction to strike the cue ball with the cue stick.
